Where did it come from? What's the inception of this goofy practice? A lot of the providers talk about keeping it legal, which is ridiculous. A fair number of the DIY providers with large breasts will without even being asked give you russian. And they nearly all let you ejaculate on them, and many let you finger them or even lick them. Are they really so daft as to think they'll beat a prostitution rap by saying they didn't actually touch the guy's penis?

I think you hit the nail on the proverbial head in your post.  There is this conception that not touching the dick keeps the massage providers within the law.  Multiple people have parsed the law; and no doubt about it this is just as illegal as providing the HE.

All that said, I bet the supervisors at the local LE station would laugh pretty hard if an undercover cop tried to pursue a DIY case.  Actually, I bet they only pursue HE cases if there is a complaint from a neighbor or an unhappy spouse.

Personally I am glad that reviewers are being more upfront in their reviews and stating that this a DIY situation before getting to the members only section.  TER management seems to waver on how to deal with DIY, which is their perogative.  One DIY providers posted a greeting under ad boards, and an number of us commented on the DIY situation.  Interestingly, those posts were removed a day later.

I seriously doubt that DIY providers think they're going to beat a prostitution rap.  It's not about that.  It's about having limits and boundaries;  these providers are willing to provide the DIY service but they simply don't feel comfortable giving a hj or bj or doing fs.  And the market is there for it, so why not?  It's a step up from watching a girl in a peep booth.

You won't touch a cock, but you'll let the guy jizz on you? That's a weird set of boundaries.

Where else in the country do you find this rediculous DIY then Minnesota?  The fact that guys will say such rediculous things in their reviews.  "She likes to keep it legal", etc.  Just goes to show the mentality of guys that will part with upwards of $200 for no service.

Why would a lady provide anything if she has a bunch of willing suckers lined up at her door willing to fork over their dough.  Just makes me shake my head and feel like a kid in a candy store, when I'm in a normal town (Namely anywhere else in the US)

It's our sense of shame many of our ancestors instilled into the Minnesota culture over the last 150 years. Many would rather go to a lecture on pleasure than experience it. This is at least how I explain it having lived here my whole life.

Now there's something I didn't know. I didn't realize that this phenomenon was localized. It must be something some smarty thought up and it just took off around here.

... that you, maybe others, are being forced to see DIY providers, against your will.  I'm perplexed as to how that's happening, e.g. is someone approaching you at gunpoint and forcing you to make and keep appointments with these ladies, but it's a shame this is happening to anyone.

;-)

Whenever I see these kinds of posts about the "rediculous" (sic) practice of DIY, I have to wonder why guys who don't go for DIY care one bit about guys who choose to see DIY providers.  It's a big world out there, with different people seeking different sexual experiences.  DIY is something you'd never do with a provider, and that's your choice--and NO ONE should tell you that your choice, when its something mutually agreed to by consenting adults, is any less valid than anyone else's.  It's your money, and your time.

I suppose next we'll see a post about the "suckers" who fork over their dough to see a provider, then spend much of their time with the lady just cuddling and talking--and they think it's great!  Heck, they might find that part even more satisfying than the sex.  That's pretty "rediculous", isn't it?  And some of these ladies who excel at cuddling/talking/kissing get very high scores.  And many of them get more than $200/hour.... some a LOT more.  And they have a whole bunch of "willing suckers" lined up at their doors to get this "non-service."

This is the main reason I don't spend much time here anymore... too many people with small minds, and even smaller hearts.  Fortunately, there are still a few participants here who elevate the level of discussion, with valuable / wise advice, genuine humor, art (thanks for the great photos, ladies!), and discourse that exhibits consideration for others and an understanding that not everyone is cut from the same cloth.

But then I like the tease as much as I do getting my stick wet. Probably more so.

This is extremely well put. Some people like the hobby the way they like it, which is not the way others like it. Big deal.

I've finished DIY with several providers, even some of my favorites. I wanted to get a nut and that's how it happened that session. I was still naked with a beautiful girl who was urging me on. I never considered it a waste of money. I realize it's a different thing to start and finish, but I wouldn't be averse to it under certain circumstances. And that's me, and someone else might disagree. Fine.

Again, save your judgment for yourself. The rest of us don't need it.

It is "rediculous" ...
It's also hilarious that one DIY'er says she's an ER nurse...
Wonder when she finds the time to take a shift in the ER...
with her full-time DIY schedule paying for her rock hard +2's.....
