Saw A well-known provider who is very nice and who I would see again if something about her were different.

What totally turned me off about the provider was that her apartment was very messy and her bathroom was filthy. I was just very turned off by this and think that a daily spray with Lysol isn't that much to ask.

Amen to that.  Saw a lady last week whom I gave some advice to about four months ago.  She cleaned up her act and was a professional through and through.  Obviously, it's not hugely important on the overall rating scale but does make a difference if we'll return.

I agree, if the incall is too messy and dirty I won't return.

just curious, is a hotel setting more appreciated? I know some providers use them but not everyone is comfortable with it. It's hard sometimes to keep a nice place, if it's not yours or you have room mates or if someone wants to see you with little notice ya know? Isn't it about the girl anyhow?

It's not just about the girl Ava. It's the whole package. If your place is a mess I may feel that you really don't care. I wont get as turned on because I'm afraid I may stick to the bed from the last guy. Like when I go to Cub foods' produce and I see fruit and veggies all over the place. The food may taste good in the end but I have to wash the hell out of it before I'm ready to indulge. Across town at Whole foods, I'm checking out all the wonderful bushels of fresh cilantro, ripe tomatoes and I'm fucking getting ideas. Good ideas.Presentation is as important as the girl. It is mostly about the girl, but it's just more comfortable in at least a clean place.  Doesn't have to be a 5 star hotel, but clean and comfortable will go a long way to bringing back repeats.  As far as hotel vs. apartment/house, I do feel more comfortable at a hotel sometimes.  Just seems like nobody knows each other so you don't get strange looks like you might walking into someone's home or apartment.  Pros and cons either way I guess.

Of course the girl is the most important thing but everything the girl does reflects on her and helps guys form an impression of her. A well written ad looks better than one that is riddled with errors.  A nicely maintained incall is better than one that is a dump.  These kinds of things can make the difference between which girl gets a first call or repeat appointment and which one does not.
