Is there some kind of expiration date on hot that I am not aware of?  It seems more and more common around here to see comments such as this one insinuating that a woman cannot be hot in her forties:

Is there a certain birthday where we are no longer supposed to be attracted to a beautiful woman?  Am I wrong for growing up believing that age of a mature woman is simply a number?  Obviously, there is going to be somebody that doesn't share my views.

For those who would disagree with my take on things, what is your view of where this line exists and do you feel your thoughts will change as you progress further in the aging process?

Women are beautiful creatures.  Young women to old women think there's something wrong with them.  Our body images fed to us girls is crap.  Beauty is NOT skin SHALLOW.  Beauty really does shine through.  I have seen some incredible women that exude beauty.  The wisdom that comes with age is HOT!  

Also, so many men that judge beauty from the outside cannot see their feet over their beer gut.  Oh yeah, that's sexy at any age... ;-/ ...said nobody EVER.

Beauty doesn't expire.  Sadly, neither does ignorance or hypocrisy.

is so much a "state of mind" and when it's there, easily comes out in someone's overall presence,  general demeanor, in their clothing style, their walk, how high they carry their head, their smile, and even in the way they look at you.    When a woman "feels" hot, believe me, you know it, from just being in the same room.        

For me personally, I didn't START to FEEL "hot" until after I turned 40.  I just didn't have the inner self-confidence and hadn't ever given myself "permission" to feel that way.    Could maybe be because I was finally done with the diapers!!??  hard to feel sexy and hot when you're changing a zillion diapers a day.   LOL.    

Confidence is Hot, Arrogence is Not.   No matter what the age.  




 

There is no expiration - all woman age differently especially with their shape.  I think the face generally stays consistant.  There are TONS of HOT 40's woman out there!  Walk around the mall and your tongue hangs out ... yummy!

But a matter of biology, on average most people find younger men and women the most attractive.  Again, this is on average and who any individual finds "hot" is entirely up to them.

This is so the human race wont die out. But as intelligent beings, we are smart enough to know that with age comes wisdom and talent, and an awareness of how to present oneself in the best way.
Age is relative, beauty is reflected in how you feel about yourself.

I have a more enjoyable time with providers over 40 and I have seen several over 50.   The minimum age I deal with is 30.

It has to do with how well I can relate to the ladies involved.

I've worked with the most stunning 19 yo models and within an hour wanted to run screaming away from them.

Here's one that I'll never understand. Big boobies.... they seem to dictate some women's personalities. Guys just love to look at them, but the person behind them is often a dud! It's like they never had to learn social skills and develop a personality. Then as they get older and the boobies aren't so attractive, they don't have anything going on. BUT if a gal gets larger over the years she often gains a confidence that's awesome.

I'm gonna beg to differ on the big boobs thing. Only because
most of my large chested civvie girlfriends are very intellectual & kind  to everyone on all aspects.
I'm not so small chested either but I'm definitely not arrogant, stupid or mean without good cause.
However some of the bitchiest gals I know are the stereotypical " younger hot" type.
Arrogance & lack of emotional intelligence can make the most outwardly beautiful person look very unattractive IMO.

I believe having healthy confidence &  general good heartedness is a good chunk of what beauty no matter what age or size a person is.

....to say someone in there's 40's or older can't be hot. Vanessa Williams for example is extra HOT AS HELL and she's 49 (I loved her on the last season of Desperate Housewives), Mika Brzezinski (Morning Joe) is hot and she's like 45). Not everyone's beauty immediately fades away when they hit a certain age especially not 40.  I'm in my 20's but I think my future looks chances are pretty good... my mother is 51 and barely has a wrinkle and is beautiful (not just saying that because she's mom) and my grandmother is 70 and even she doesn't have many wrinkles and is a very pretty woman (pics of her younger in age she reminds me of actress Malinda Williams).  Age is just a number and some of us get better looking OR don't change much at all with age (with little to no surgery).

For me Im 35+ &  have zero wrinkles anywhere yet( thx to my awesome parents & their genes)  . In fact i get carded for everything still or accused of using a fake id lol
Even my grandma looks in her early 50's ( my moms age) & she's 98 yrs old still wearing high heels and skirts.

A guy on another regional board asked about some gfe recommendations (thick or bbw preferred) for example and everyone was pretty good with their responses but there's always at least one douchebag. ALWAYS.....and he delightfully made the comment in a nutshell why pay one when he can get them free anytime...it was really nice lol.
