When I was growing up, my dad made me come home at 10:30pm, every night, every day. (Even for PROM! Wait...think I got an extra 1/2 hour)
What do you think?  What curfews did your parents impose on you?

I never had a curfew, my parents told me to use my own judgement, if they didn't like it, I got a warning, next time they would establish a curfew.  Never happened again.   I used the same guidelines with my kids.  Worked great.  Providing kids with responsibility while growing up is important.  Kyra, you must have been a wild one!!!!  And still are!!!!

Until 13 by the time street lights came on (around 6:30/7pm), 13-15 10pm and 16-17 midnight (I was in 11th and 12th grade at those ages).
Now 17 I had graduation and prom celebrations so I was given until 3am. Until I was 20/21 and finally moved out I had to be in before mom got up for work (she got up about 4:30/5am) and she'd kick my ass if I woke her up coming in lol.

Curfew laws differ and exceptions apply for school activities, errands under supervision of guardian, work permits ect.  But followed the law in our area.  It was illegal for 14 and under to be on street after 9 pm and under 18 it was it was a violation of the law if not home by 10 on school nights Sunday - Thursday but midnight on Friday and Saturday.

The law applied if the minor was in any public place after 10 pm including walking, biking or driving a vehicle.
So guess both you and your father would have been in jail here with a 10:30 curfew  :

IMM, what state/city are you talking about with those curfew laws?

I can't see those being enforced in the US nowadays but then we are generally a country without many laws nor the means to enforce them if we did.

Smaller city years ago, but I'll bet many heavily populated areas such as Hennepin County have similar laws still on the books today.  Enforcement is probably lax and on a case by case situation.
In reality we are a country of many many laws.  A lot of the laws on the books get overlooked or go unenforced for one reason or another.  I remember hearing 20+ years ago some state still had law on the books about motor vehicles required to yield to horse drawn carriages in some sort of an unorthodox manner so as not to spook the horses ect.

Who the FUCK cares?  Yes, this profession can be dark, but the majority of hobbyists that I've seen are there for affection and stress relief.  Simply touching someone In a loving way can alleviate emotional pain. If you think all we do is  spread our legs and grab an envelope on the way out you're  seeing the wrong provider.    I'm ready for your retaliation about how I'm old or stupid whore or something like that, but you know what? All you are is a small sad lonely man gets off on hurting people.
I have no idea why you're still here when all you do is belittle anyone who dares to disagree with you.

You're SUCH an asshole Talon.

I agreed w/you 100%, TER is full of people with emotional pain. I however is not one of them. I'm having the time of my life fucking around until I settle down permanently with someone, then TER will be a distant memory.  Let me tell you a little something about myself- I have small dick, but a huge checking account.  I can easily say that the current balance on my checking account is more than your take home $ the last two years.

Curse me all you want, but doesn't bother me. I'm guessing at one or more point in your life, you got the short end of the stick, and was permanently damaged and became one the people w/emotional pain.  I've called people old, but don't think I've ever called anyone here stupid.  If I did called anyone here stupid, I apologize. I meant to call them ignorant.

I'm still here because I like to fuck a lot, pay other people's rent and feed their kids.  Pretty sure it will wear out soon.
