I had a flashback of a time long, long ago when having an encounter with a supposed FWB.  (I say supposed because true FWB's are mythical creations, someone wants or will want something more eventually.).  Anyhow, while we were going at it I made the mistake of uttering a girls name that I had recently become interested in and eventually began dating.  Even though it supposedly was strictly sexual, my partner shriveled up, began crying and I felt like a total ass.  Which was somewhat deserved.  

Never been on either end of that, though I've been called plenty of uh, other names.

When you're in the middle of it, or at the height of it, inappropriate utterances/actions are not terribly unusual. Nor is fantasizing about having sex with someone while you're actually having sex with someone else. It happens. It's normal. People need to deal with this.

I would agree that people "should" deal with it and move on, but, human nature being what it is, should and do can be two different things.  That's why I posed the question.

... God / Jesus.  I don't think the lady got upset about it.  (Heck, she'd better not, it was HER fault!)  She certainly didn't break stride.  I just hope the Big Guy didn't get too upset!  :-0
