Why do people still want to go to Hotels in Bloomington/Eagan after all that has happened?

I will be staying in Bloomington for a few days next week on business in a hotel, without transportation.  Anyone have any good recommendations?

I have seen a couple of gals that have stayed at Extended Stays... Yea have had a door issue once but otherwise no big deal????

There's at least one TER provider who refuses to visit clients at Embassy suites.

I also have seen gals staying at Extended, a lot of them do because it's affordable and decent.  But some tend to be kind of nosy and will report suspicious looking single women with a lot of male visitors...

Read my review of Jillian if you want details of my experience with a very foolish agency who put their girl at risk needlessly.

A responsible provider is probably clever enough to not get herself pinched, but why risk it?  There are enough hotels where you can come and go without anyone seeing.

I agree do not stay at the embassy suites. The Hilton, Hilton garden inn, Park place and the Holiday Inn are very good hotels to stay at.

I have seen people at the Embassy without any problems.  Just my two cents.

Since you don't have transportation I'll offer this, pick one that is either close to the Light rail lline, or one that has a shuttle to the Mall of America, from there you can catch the Light rail and get clear downtown if you want to get out. Most of the hotels near the airport/MOA have shuttles to the MOA... if you're over in west Bloomington (west of the mall) you'll be out of luck as far as easy access to light rail.
