It always makes me wonder why when I read in a post, "her prices won't remain low for long", or "she's more than worth the $$". I know most are just trying to tell their readers that she was a great lay but wouldn't it be more prudent to let the reader figure it out for themselves?

I'm just thinking, are we doing ourselves (hobbyist's) more harm than good? There have been a couple of instances where girls prices have quickly exceeded my normal range and I have missed seeing them because of it.

I think you're onto something here with a small rub.  I know this is what happened with a few ladies that I have chatted with and that's how they realize that they should or could be getting more for their time.  

The rub though, is that most women will realize that once their phone is ringing non-stop, that they should/could raise their rates.  Supply and demand will kick in before too long even if the provider doesn't see a phrase that would encourage them to charge more.  I know I started at an (almost insultingly LOW) rate, like most women do, and after I realized I was almost giving it for free, I started slowly raising.  I raised them until my phone started ringing and amount that I could handle.  I think that's the industry standard for raising or lowering rates.

Just my .02...because everyone is entitled to Charlottes opinion, right?  jk.

There's probably a sliver of truth to what you say, but the laws of supply and demand apply here. Like Charlotte said, girls figure out when they're getting more calls than they can possibly handle, it's probably a good time to raise the price.

Because the baker who sells out of bread can bake more, the restaurant that is always full can look for a bigger space, but there's only one Charlotte (or Hillary or whoever), so their only option is to increase prices.

You might be tipping them off by a few days or weeks, but eventually they'll get the hint.

It just seems odd when the customer basically tells the 'store' they should/could raise their prices.

You reviewed 23 Providers in 2011, cost doesn't seem to be an issue. Pay them what they ask and be happy!

I've usually been grandfathered in under the old rates when my favorites start charging more.
