I drive about 260 mi. one way to the cities occasionally for fun.....it requires an investment of significant time as well as finances/gas, etc......just wondering how far others may drive for that special person that provides the spark or lights your fire ?

I hour (60 miles give or take a mile or two) one way to see someone.

I was damned pleased when I was able to move back into the cities.

I drove 3300 miles to see four different ladies last year.

'Course, the drive was half the fun. Denver, Vegas, LA, Vancouver then home in an old sports car. Highway 1 up the coast is gorgeous. So were the ladies.

I am glad I am not the only one.  118 miles to the cities, one way.

This policy has worked well for me since I implemented it and has cut out the is it really worth spending four hours in drive time for an hour long appointment?

Maybe we could start a bus service for hobbyist's.

But not by very much!
