I cannot give links because all of the stories have names. Google trafficking prostitution and Canada and you will find about arrests for a ring operating across Canada--500+ Asian women trafficked to spas across the country.
I am a proud hobbyist--none of Talon's shame or slut shaming.
But hobbying must be consensual--as it is with the independent women who are largely on this board and other places like it.
The Asian spas operate differently in many many instances.  They are criminal syndicates of business that open and close with arrests and pressure.  In many instances organized rings bring young non-English speaking women to them and financially exploit them. The passports are held by the ring. The women often are held by force or by threat including against their families back home who often paid to get them passage and work in the US.  This is not a consensual system.  Many arrests across the US show that this system is pandemic in the US.  I will stick with consent with independent women.

It's so ignorant to think that about spa workers . As if they're stupid and have no idea what they're doing there .  
Even here in USA . I'd look at a nail shop for abused,  trafficked women before an AMP.
