Getting to be a little to much Big Brother out there... always helps to bring a wake up call and remember where we are... and that the religious right is just behind the corner...

They seem to be the man-haters that assume that every woman in the hobby is a victim and needs to be "liberated" from her evil male captors!

When your motto is "A woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle" it warps the thinking and makes for a belief system that thinks no woman would ever do this out of their own free will, there must be an evil man somewhere pulling the strings!

The zelousy comes from BOTH sides of the isle! And the problem won't go away with a change in administration! It will only become worse when "Bleeding heart" types get power and expand the ever increasing government in an effort to "protect" us from ourselves! Well, we need to ever increase our efforts to protect ourselves from our protectors!!

Very interesting info Fletch! This is sort of what I was talking about when I posted a while back about what is going on in the Fed level. I totally agree with what Ben has stated in his post and here is why. A lot of people do not like Dave from Phoenix, but in general I personally think that he is doing a lot of good, by keeping us informed about what is going on.

I know a female attorney on the coast that is a feminist and is strongly against any prostitution AT ALL! The pro-bono work she does is for underage women that are involved in prostitution and has helped LE. She has also worked at behind the scenes on anti prostitution laws. So the feminists are just as bad as the religious right on this subject. I believe that the federal attack on this will not go away with a party change.

I think the current attack on all our civil rights is being led by the "American Taliban." South Dakota is getting ready to outlaw abortion, so there is a law to take a test case to the Supreme Court.  
Sure there are a lot of feminists who don't like our hobby, but I have also met many who don't feel it should be a crime.  
It is weird how the 21st century is starting to feel a great deal like the 19th. It is time for us all to educate ourselves and start throwing some of the idiots that currently hold public office out.
I don't want to insult anyone's faith, but I am getting tired of "Christians" in this country thinking they know what it right for everyone.
I'll get off my soapbox now.

The "Christians" are just the tip of the iceberg. The "Do-Good" ("I am brighter than you so I will run your life") Lefties are the real source of the trend to destroy liberty. Their sanctimonious, condescending blather may deceive one into believing they are for personal liberty for us peons but they have nothing but contempt for us and believe we unworthy of it!

Their reasons for deciding to stick their noses in where they don't belong are different but regardless of the path they are taking they are both headed to the same destination, namely running our lives for us.

I am curious as to what you consider a leftist plot to take away personal liberty.  I have heard this argument before, but with no examples.
I am willing to listen to what you have to say with an open mind.
