Last summer I saw a local provider. I originally contacted her through e-mail and gave her my cell phone number to fascilitate our appointment.
Last week I received an e-mail that came from her addy, but it wasn't from her. It was from someone who apparently works for the agency the provider was with - I had thought the provider had been independent. The e-mail was touting some new girl. I thought it was weird, being solicited like this. Then, yesterday, someone from the agency called and left a message on my cell phone again soliciting this new girl. First, I don't feel comfortable being solicited and secondly why do they have my cell phone number? That makes me nervous. I thought providers shouldn't keep personal contact information. Are they keeping records on all their clients? I have contacted the agency and requested my records be deleted. I have intentionally left the name of the provider and agency out of this post in hopes that this was some kind of mistake or abberration and that they will delete my records. Any comments?

Welcome to the World of data bases and lack of destroying information.  This is a lot more common that you may think. A lot of ladies keep all information in databases for future references.  

In addition, some independents are "grouped" together and help each other out. If you do not want further calls and email from them or anyone else. Tell them or email them to be removed from there database.

Any providers wonder why some guys are hesitant to give out this information.  Situations like this create bad issues between providers and hobbyist.  Typically I receive very few calls from providers unless I have told them it was ok to call.

I think you'll find that many "independents" are "managed" by someone.  Also many who of course don't keep personal info, definately do.  You definately aren't the first local gentleman to be called up months later asking about a new date.  Just as the ladies need to be safe and protect their identities, so do the men.  I think we all understand the need for screening for the ladies to protect themselves, but at the same time it can leave your arse hanging from a tree.  Might want to consider a screening service, or just try to use references in the future.

Unfortunately you are right about some ladies or agencies misusing private and confidential information, however this is not true with everyone. I personally never keep any records and delete all information that was submitted to me (including emails) after our date has concluded. I also perform monthly mailbox maintenance and delete all messages older than 30 days.

This problem is more common however with agencies than independents. If you do provide your information to someone just be sure it is someone you can trust, someone who displays professionalism and good judgment. Usually it is a good sign if this person also has concerns with privacy and discretion, then you know she will take extra care when handling your personal information.

The same thing happened to me too, this week. I want to see this new girl, but a little bit worry. My big head kept tell me what if she got bust and cooperate with LE to get people she knows. Can she do this. As always if $ and sex never discuss at our meeting, I should be fine right? Or am I automatically guilt as soon as I show up.

Providers, would you do this?

Many providers do delete all info from clients.  I for one recently started keeping email list of those I've seen or would not see again.  But that would be the full extent of my records.  I travel so much that when a lady ask for a reference and I can't remember their name at least I can tell them I've seen them even if it has been a while.  Many, including myself, have a good name memory...that's why I ask for last name so I can remember them better.  But of course, I can forget unless your name stands out.  Hope everyone is staying warm up there.
