Discounts always seem to be a popular topic.  Here's a bit of a different question.  Was wondering what are the most creative reasons you've heard when asked if you'll give a discount.

As for creativity, I would say most men do not come up with great reasons why they deserve to haggle for a discount. The general request for a discount is for military, for being a teacher or their birthday.

For myself, I would say in the past I offered two unique and special discounts one was a pearl necklace discount and the other was a quiz all about Samantha Good (the more answers you got right the larger the discount).

I had a longer answer, but I did not want to give attention to 2 negative nellies that troll this board. They are/were notorious for begging for discounts. They know who they are.
Their reasons were lame and I never saw them.

Can you believe this frigid spring?

lots of men seem to think they should get a discount because they saw you one time 4 yrs ago.
What is up with that?

Reasons Given:

Discount or freebie for a great review and shills ... I never have accepted that nor will I!!! I would rather EARN 7, 8, & 9s then to buy 10s ... integrity is important to me.

My ATF is a discount for a first visit because they will become a new regular (usually stating they will see me a few times a month). LOL many of my first timers become regulars plus I run specials. Or the opposite is requested ... Discounts for regulars.

just a bit feeble!

"My kids are in private school and the tuition is expensive."

"I saw you once seven years ago."

"I am a really nice guy and I'd like to be a regular."

I do offer a discount for repeat visits within a reasonable period.  I am also very, very generous with my time, as my friends will attest.

lol

hey, it was clever. Wonder who ever actually got a card?  hehehehehe
hey, could do like coffee shops do and keep your card in a little card file box on the counter....

stuffed with like 150 or so cards....   lol... that'd be high-lair-e-us.
I should do that....  LMAO.

damn, sorry, the visual of seeing a card file when you go to a providers incall.....   lol....

Including " I'm really really good looking ."
"I'm just trying out my new viagra prescription."
And the oh so tired " Well you aren't this or that blah blah blah ...so I should get a discount. "
Regulars always get incentives for repeating with me frequently FYI.

Seems that Creative isn't  a stand alone adjective for HOW guys ask for discounts.

There is another adjective you can add with some methods.  Here are my favorites...and yes, these are

Creative and SNEAKY:

Provider (referred to as P, in rest of story)  is on tour.....  Client (referred to a C in rest of story)  books a one hour appointment.  C arrives, lays down envelope, excuses himself to wash his hands, P looks in envelope.  it is 125 short.  P nicely asks C, why is envelope short?   C replies innocently and nicely, Oh, I'm here for a half hour. P says nicely, I don't do half hours on tours. it says that on my website even.  (keep in mind, C BOOKED an hour appointment and it was confirmed for that length by P's assistant and reconfirmed by C.)     .......  what did P do?     not telling.  :)

Creative and HOPING YOU WILL SEE HIM ANYWAY:

I only have 150.  I really want to see you.  can we work something out?

Creative and JUST PLAIN RIDICULOUS:

I really want to see you but you are out of my price range.   I'd write a review for you if you will see me at a lesser rate.   (and I note that most of the people they have reviewed are not that much less than me or the same price as me.....   so I wonder, well, he must have gotten to see them at a discount.  SO, I think to myself, he should go back and see them then) and then I politely decline their offer.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I have learned to not become offended if anyone asks me for a discount.    Why? because I myself generally ALWAYS ask if someone that is providing a service to me offers any type of discount....like AAA or a "pay by cash" ,  referral, or frequent customer, etc....  Even hospitals, doctors and dentist offices will do a cash or "pay in full" discount.    I find that those are typically the only types of discounts offered in the real world....well, military or student discounts too (but that doesn't apply to me so I don't ask)  I don't care if the business thinks I am cheap just because I ask about what discounts they may or may not offer.   I work hard for my money, and if I can save 5 or 10% because I can pay in cash, etc.  it makes me feel Great!    And if the business doesn't offer any type of discount, well, that's fine too. If it's a place I need to go to regardless of that, I still go.

Guys DO and Will Continue to ask because I'm sure there ARE girls that WILL see someone at a discounted rate, for one of the "normal discounts", like military or student, or maybe for any reason, when they are nicely asked,  if it means not seeing the guy, they make nothing at all for that time.   And if that's how they want to run their business, they can do whatever they want.  Guys see provider ads all over the place that say, "discounts" and "special" etc etc...so who can blame them for asking about something that may be more beneficial for them?    If they could all just be respectful and nice about it at least.....girls may not mind so much to at least be asked.

This is a PEOPLE business.

Treat everyone well, even if they don't "deserve" it.

luv and hugs,

Porti

Over the last 6 years, I did asked three providers for discounts.  I promised multiple visits.  I have never promised a favorable review or shill. I simply said that her price point was more thank I could pay (nothing fancy like being a preacher).
On two of those I did do multiple visits but the whole thing was wrong.
It was a mistake. Never again. I apologize.

I have also been offered freebies on two occasions. I don't do those either but that is another thread.

I only get disturbed when that arrogant, self entitlement attitude comes into play. Nothing takes away my hard-on quicker.

Not to mention I offer more opportunities on an ongoing basis to accommodate most financial needs than Carter has pills. P411 & TER discounts, discounts for contributing to my food & T4T drive, pre-book discounts, trivia contests, & I never impose a time limit on grandfathering. Jeesh! I still have clients that only pay $150 for the hour! Then for someone to approach me & say none of those options are good enough to suit them?! Well my only reply.... DELETE!

I once saw a provider who charged $1,500 for 2 hours (minimum) and $2,200 for 3 and $2,800 for 4.   We had a wonderful time together and I would have enjoyed taking her on a dinner date, which would be at least four hours.  I simply could not get over the fact that I would be paying her $600 for the 4th hour while I was paying for her $100 meal.

...or former military with combat theater service, just from a sense of patriotism and gratitude. Unless, of course, I lived in a city with a large military base then I'd likely suffer from battle fatigue. I never understood why a guy would think he should get a birthday discount from a Provider. Wouldn't most folks splurge on themselves on their birthday and spend a little more instead of a little less?

They kept a box by the front door- As you came in you would get your card out of the box and they would initial the visit.  Their's was pretty good- 6 visits and the 7th was free.  It didn't make any difference who you saw there.  You used an alias that you knew when you got your card for them to initial.

Rebecca Rand was a very good madame and marketer.

Any other old timers out there who remember that??

there are 2 providers that I know of that might be still "working" who I used to see there quite often.  Lisa and Candy.  There were lots of other girls, but they were my favs.  Followed them to other cat houses including Night Lights around 7th Ave N and N 3rd St.  I remember the painting of Jesse The body that Rebecca painted.  I was quite good.  Long before he got into politics.

Oh boy ! I remember Night lights, was briefly there before it's abrupt end, I always worked with a gal that looked like Vanessa Williams and this other girl that had kind of a Boca accent ( I think her name was Joanne ?) We then ended up working together again at a parlor off Clifton avenue and I haven't seen them since 2002, Sadly, I think no one ever got their 7 th visit . Fun times were had there !

I do have a buy 4 get one .
