Been running into what seems like a lot of providers using Fake or Misleading Pictures.  
Even after the TER profile says their accurate and nobody says anything in the reviews.  

Are the providers playing bait and switch on just me or are there others. Is there something I'm missing?

these are two different categories of problems.  

fake photos are not of the provider; I've been caught by them several times.  there is one provider currently advertising who uses several different sets of photographs, all of them not her.  

misleading pictures are not fake but don't show enough to get the correct idea.  for example, there is a provider whose photos are clearly real but they tend to show her as athletic and slim.  she is neither of those but once you've seen her it is obvious that the photos are her because of the hair and other parts showing in the photograph.  

there is a third category: old photos.  these are photographs that are of the provider but out of date in that she has gained weight or something else has changed so she is not as attractive as the photo implies.

So even real pictures can be highly misleading.

But if you paid to see a movie and all they did was a bring in a television set, you'd probably be disappointed.
