Kristin, glad to see you put some of our advice to you and put them to work for you. Maybe you could update your pics on your website as well.

As I am sure all us hobbyists are aware of, Google is a wonderful thing and sorry to say, putting asterik's in your phone number is another HUGE red flag for me.

Google searches on your phone number have no trouble finding lots of results, many of which no longer exist or have been deleted (one of which I know was up yesterday).  Why are you deleting all of your old ads all of the sudden? You can delete all you want but search engines remember things for a LONG time.

Thanks mnhorizon180 for doing some research for the rest of us. She is not very good at responding to e-mails with specific questions either. This whole deal with MsKristin has brought out some interesting questions and issues.

What I did in my Past with my phone number I find to be NO ONES buisness... I thought no one could put down a provider on there once a week post!! But The issues at hand Are not anyones problem but my own!! again after a long period of continuous bashing. I thought it was a brave move for Ms.Kristin to start to set things straight, only to get bashed on her one ad per week post. Seems if a guy has a problem with the lady, whatever it is, he should post on his own dime. I hope Ms.K does follow the recommentations put forth by other members and becomes a successful member of this hobby community. I don't post much, but am not a newbie, having lost 30 some reviews with a name change. We have lost many of the ladies who once contributed to this board because of the negativity.

I did a couple of google searches and shared those results.  I did not "bash" anybody!  This board loves to tell people to do their own leg work and I would think that sharing what was found would be valuable information to everyone.  

I'm not being negative, I'm actually a glass is half-full kind of guy.  I was simply sharing the reasons why I personally won't be calling Ms. Kristin anytime soon and arming other hobbyists with information so they too can make an informed decision.

If you want to talk about rules of the board and how I should not be able to post what I found on her "once a week" ad, what about her last post where "bigfella14" again gave her a mini-review and has no plans to write a full-review.  According to the rules of the board he is suppose to have his posting priveledges revoked.

I didn't bash her, I shared information I found about her!

Why can't we all just welcome a new gal to the board?  And let her have her ad without stepping all over her?

As for me....I'm just gonna wait for the reviews she's hinted at...and then I'll make my decisions based on them.  I'm perfectly fine waiting to see her legitimacy and menu.  I don't need to poke and prod her beforehand...I'd rather hope to enjoy her later.

First, the website site you refer to has several fake ads for reputable providers on it. These providers would include: Remy, Delilah, Bianca, Victoria Jolie...all of which are HIGHLY reviewed and wonderful ladies. Google my name and even with my great reviews, you would be surprised at the fake crap out there. Much of the content we have no control over deleting.

Second, providers do change their info. When I first started out, I used a different name for like a week. I had no reviews under that name...didn't even receive my first review ever until 4 months after escorting under my current name. However, I changed my name because my first week of advertising as a newbie was on CL. I did not know better. However, once I figured out what I wanted in an escort “career”, I ditched my name of one week and started over, as I did not want any association with CL.

In the past 6 months, I have had 3 different web domains and websites (all of which are down except for my current one), a blog (up and then back down), and three different phone numbers. Why? Just because I can…or for personal reasons, which a lady shouldn’t have to explain on her once a week ad.

Now I must admit consistency is best for business, thus I am proud to say I have stuck with my latest phone number for the past 4 months. Yay!!

Thank goodness I have reviews to prevent baseless accusations.

As far as deleting ads…nearly every single one of my Cityvibe and Backpage ads from last year has been deleted. I would delete them a couple weeks after putting them up. Why keep them up once they have fallen to page 20? For personal discretion, I would delete my TER ads after a couple of weeks if such an option were implemented. Unfortunately, everything we post here is archived.

I made no accusations! I did a couple of Google searches, posted what I found, asked one questions and stated my concerns with sheduling an appointment to see her.

I have since been tagged as Mr. Negative and a person who makes unfounded accusations.  I never said any of what I found was fact, it's just what I found and I shared it.

If this board wants to chase off everyone who shares information that they have found for a given provider, great!  Then the site and the board are worthless to me because no information regarding issues or concerns will ever be shared.

Hey, let's all go start a new site, one where you can only post positive reviews, 8's or better and everything else will be censored.  With discussion boards that allow no posts about information that is readily available to everyone unless it is good information. Everthing someone sees as being negative can be flagged and deleted by the community.

Have at it, I won't be there.  When I want just one side of the story I'll read the newspaper.  But when I come here, I expect both sides of the story, or it's worthless.

I have never met nor do I have anything against Ms. Kristin. She just simply has too many red flags for me to ignore and I simply shared what I found and my opinion.

A couple weeks or so ago, I mentioned a lady whose phone number I had Googled last spring.  She was using fake pics then, but the photos Kristin is using now are the same as the lady whose MySpace page I found using that phone number.

I'm thinking that, starting out, she may have had qualms about putting her own pics out there.  If I were a betting man, I'd guess she was legit.

I think that's because you shared this on her ad instead of on the earlier thread or by starting your own.  I don't know if it's official policy or not but at the least it is considered "bad form."

In any event, as others have pointed out, deleted ads are nothing unusual and some sites automatically delete them after a while.  And the sites you found with the different email address, well who knows how legit they are; I've never run across any of them before and wouldn't trust anything I see on them one way or the other.  Now, if you'd found this kind of hinky stuff on Eros, Cityvibe, Backpages (i.e., the big sites most of us use) then that would be a red flag.

Where is an ad of hers showing her number with *s in it?  Neither her website or her Eros ad has this

And why do you think Kristin is connected to the fake ads under the name Anya?  All I ever read about that was a thread where the OP asked about "Kristin" but put a link to an ad for this Anya.  I figured he just accidentally put the wrong link in.  Why do you think differently?

Bringing up the point that an ad and or phone number is linked to some questionable ads, to me is not bashing. Calling someone names(ie-assholes, idiots) is more bashing or perhaps "immature". It also appears that in her reply that there was some questionable ads before but now it is no ones business.

I'll make a couple of points clear. There is indeed a 'no bashing' rule for ad threads. That means you don't get to post replies to a lady's ad saying she's fat, unattractive, charges to much, yadda yadda yadda. No negative hits.

However.

If a hobbyist finds concrete signs that something isn't right, as was the case here, that is a different story. He presented his findings - the lady refuted them, although saying 'what I did with my phone # is none of your business" is hardly a denial. She appears, from what a few hobbyists have said, to be making a legitimate effort to overcome past bad reviews and we have seen testimonials - not 'mini reviews' - stating that she is as she presents herself to be.

This was a case of someone with legitimate questions. These seem to have been answered and, in my opinion, more effectively for her than if all this had happened back-channel. Now let's move forward and see if we can't make Ms Kristin feel welcome.

As for the supposed 'mini review' on a previous thread - someone expressing their appreciation and satisfaction IN RESPONSE to a lady's post is not a mini review or a shill - it is simply that.

Let's all chill out or we'll be up all night filling out the form.
