I know quite a few providers contribute to this board. I am genuinely curious as to the thought process (if any) that goes into choosing your handles?
Some are obvious (Jersey Girl comes to mind). I am willing to bet there are some interesting stories to be told!

is just my name as it was the most logical choice. For clarification, is your question really about our handles or how we determined our work/stage name?

Hi Paige, I was thinking of the handle aspect, since typically, providers do NOT use their name. I was surprised that you actually use your name, I was convinced it was a handle!
Goes to show that the old adage about  "assuming" is true.
Anyway, thanks for posting, when I posed the question, I envisioned some interesting stories, but obviously, judging by the crickets, I was overly optimistic!

You are correct that there are some interesting stories. This topic has run before with some good ones but only shows how posters are reluctant to post today vs the past.
In my case simple - am Old and an Iron Ranger

Mine is a longer story but was inspired by another provider some years back.

"my handle is just my [work] name as it was the most logical choice." it appears I didn't clarify that my TER handle is just my work/stage name as to me it was the most logical choice.

My very first was  **gopher, in the early 2000s

All in, which I was at the time -- lock, stock, and barrel. And the movie made me smile.
Thinking of changing it to Alter Igor. There's a good story behind that.
