While this message is in no way directed at any one group, provider or hobbyist - REALLY!!! I have an interesting question based on some of the recent discussions that I have been reading on some of the below threads and wanted to ask the question to both sides:
Providers; would a provider see a hobbyist if they had "harsh" posts or was consistently stirring up the pot on this board? Even if that provider had another reference from a solid provider? Would it depend on bookings, economy, would it matter who has providing the reference or would you just say you don't want to get involved with that individual, if you knew of their past posts. Or maybe you would like that bad boy and want to investigate?
Hobbyist: Do you only look at the overall ratings, do you consider past posts, look at what you consider to be a perceived overall experience with a lady or does none of this "stuff" matter? The board is the board and the experience is the experience and they just don't relate? Is value what drives you (cost + value = experience)? Maybe you look for providers that are not board active or maybe their postings drive you to want to see them?
Please speak up and answer this survey, I'm very interested in hearing all your great opinions, both sides of the coin and I don't have any idea what kind of feedback we will get???
Number one, since I became the moderator I do not write reviews. I continue to enjoy the hobby but do not think I should post reviews.
I look at the overall ratings. I then read all of the reviews of the individual I plan on seeing. I am looking for the overall experience. Price is a consideration but it is never the deciding factor.
I wish people would give me their TER user name so I could make that determination. Nevermind the fact that knowing a review may be forthcoming changes my approach to the session. It seems to me it's in the best interest of both parties for this information to be known. If I can see from a user's posts that we are not a good fit, it saves you the money and me the time and the possibility of a negative review. This is particularly true of me since my sessions are informed by my training and can vary widely from what other providers offer.
have been ladies that I got to know a little from the boards. I only get to play 4-5 times per year, and always when I'm travelling, so my dates are always extended hours. For this reason, a lady's personality is very important to me. If I'm going to spend a good portion of the evening sitting at the dinner table with a lady, I'd prefer that we have some common interests, maybe a similar sense of humor. You can tell a lot about a person from their posts, if you pay attention, and follow them for a bit. This is the same reason that I go almost immediately to the "about me" page on a lady's website.
So far, I have faired pretty well, and spent some wonderful evenings. By the same token, I believe that I have avoided some less than stellar experiences by crossing some ladies off of my list for their adverse personalities on the boards. All in all, the boards have been a winner for me.
Ratings and reviews are impotant, so consistant reviews from established hobbyists is huge. That said, one can learn a lot about a lady by the content of what she posts here, so it's a great differentiator. Beautiful, well reviewed ladys who also are bright, thoughtful and articulate win in my book.
I generally look for the bargains that can be found on either craigslist or backpage. I know many people are critical of those sites, but I have had some wonderful luck with many of the $100 girls. I use TER to check on their level of service, just to make sure they aren't a rip off or something way different than what I expect. Eight out of ten times, I am very satisfied. I get to spend time with young, attractive women, and I can hobby two or three times as often. I am not a paying TER VIP, so I only get my VIP status by reviewing, and one of the pitfalls of seeing women without websites, is I cannot review some of them.
What the providers say or don't say on this site doesn't really effect my choice, unless it is a comment about a special price or some other offer.
Well I am not a provider I know the answer to that question is yes.
As for me I always would look at the the pictures and if I saw something there I would go to the reviews and check those out. If the reviews had at least a couple of 8's in there I would go see her. The cost was never an issue and I found the more I spent usually meant a better date. And nothing wrong with some good old fashion tease on the board :p
But for us hobbyists there is A WHOLE lot of Ymmv going on out there, so not everyone will have the same experiences
Wow, great questions..I cannot answer for any of the other girls, don't know any of them. What I do know is majority of the time I don't even know if the person I am selling my pens to is from the board as this is not a requirement for me. I do however feel a bit more comfortable with solid TER members but I see many who don't post reviews or write on here and many of my regulars remain anonomyous from the board.
If there was someone who seemed like an a** on the board or who I knew seemed to not be a fit with my personality and I get along with almost every man I meet, I would and have turned people away. Also if someone is just looking for a cheap quick pen, I am very turned off and will comfortably let them know I am not the one for them. I cater to the connoissuer of pens, someone who knows the finer things in life cost a bit more but also deliver much more. I work very hard to look, smell and taste delicious and prefer to spend my time with someone who knows the dif between a porche and a pinto. Yes both will get you where you need to go ... but the porche is a way better ride, atleast I think so! Now with that said if a provider is more about quantity that's how their business plan works for them and I would never condemn anyone for doing what is best for themselves we all have our own ideas, wants and needs that can change from day to day. As for me...I see men that want to see me and have solid references...I do not get involved in poly or sci if on the boards or with me...This is my profession I luv and indulge in; because it is incredible too feel soo good sexually.
I apologize if I did not give u the answer u want but...I just want sexual stimulations, great times, and memories that explode the next time u encounter each other!
I just enjoy experiences and luv to smile....it's just not worth issues...we live once...enjoy it!

It is hard to read into someones personality just by reading the board and of all the providers only one tickles me fancy. Some gals don't have a lot of time in their hands and they could be perceived as detached but once you meet them is a great experience. I can say that I have clicked with most I meet and obviously my interaction with them is different than the beef I have shown to have with the current mod but my "love" for him is changing as he is letting the flow of the board back to its roots. I have only shared the TER handle with one provider when she just started in the business as a reference to others but besides that I don't believe it does me any good. "You never know" I guess and it is better to play safe than sorry.

I find the rating system off....servce is usally pretty close...but looks....I think it needs to be broken down to face looks and her body....some get a good number, and there just not that good looking, but have a great body...I want a pretty face as well...just my 2cents
Personally, I do not feel board posts alone are an accurate representation of a persons true nature. Sometimes, we as people are reacting to what others say and become defensive and post before we have thought things through and can be rational. Plus, it is much easier to be blunt and to the point in a virtual world than it is in the real world. That doesn't necessarily mean we are bad people when we come here and blow off steam and let the "f" word slip a time or two. Yes, we could probably choose our words more carefully but we are human and we make mistakes.
As a provider, I have learned that not I will not mesh with all hobbiests. There will always be personality conflicts and differences. That doesn't make the other person "wrong" or bad. It just means there is a better choice of provider for him. By looking at the reviews he has done on other ladies, I am hopefully able to determine ahead of time if we are a good match.
I do take into consideration the recommendation of other providers, especially if they are providers that I know personally, have respect for, confidence in, and trust.

I used to use a gentleman’s TER handle to screen him through his board presence, yet I no longer do so, given I have found text on the board to be a poor indicator of a person’s character.
Strange enough, some of the most disrespectful posters on TER in general turn me on. It is weird, but true. There are some posters who have picked on me for as long as I can remember, but something about them makes my panties moist, thus it would be a bad idea to weed them out based on their posts.
When I am cuddling with a person, I am not thinking about a person’s TER presence. When connecting on such an emotional level, their board presence and ideologies (I don’t care what their religion, politics, etc.) really do not matter to me, as it is easy for me to get along with all sorts of people.
I have had quite a few gentlemen give me their TER handles AFTER a stellar time together simply to find that I did not prefer their board presence, but loved them in person! Go figure.
Honestly, it is all text. Text does not tell you everything about a person. Also, there are times when some might think someone is being dramatic, but the text on the board just does not convey what was intended. Further, the smiley faces are there to help express emotion, but really do not do a good job of it, given people read into them as sarcasm when indeed a person just might be happy.

I have been known for using a gentleman's TER handle to look at his review history. I tend to steer clear of unhappy people, so if all of his reviews were poor in which he is never happy with a provider, I would not see him.
(Now off to handle my business!!)

I don't hobby nearly as much as I would like to, and mostly I find out that I have time at the last minute. When I am looking for a provider, I first contact girls who have been active on this discussion board and who, through their posts I can tell have wit and personality - someone I'll have a connection with. The sex is great but I also want to talk with the provider and enjoy myself while I'm there.
I will check the TER profile and reviews(when I have a membership) and see if the menu is reasonable. I also prefer nonsmokers, so I look for that as well. Cost is not the prime motivator, but since I like to book more than an hour, I prefer a multi-hour or 90-minute rate.
The last provider I saw was Remy and I contacted her based on her board presence. We had great conversation before, after, and after again.
First and foremost, review reputations are the best indicator of probability of being pleased with a first date with a provider. Guys are generally visual so looks are important and you want first to assess whether photos, if available, are current and accurate. Second, performance is always subjective so you read reviews for cues of whether behaviour reported is likely to be in line with personal expectations. A lot of weight should be given to the reviewer's history of providing accurate reviews. A first time reviewer of a first time review of a provider has very little credibility until there are additional reviews that are consistent. But a first time review by a credible reviewer is a good indicator that a new provider may be just emerging and worth a try. I no longer "hobby" so this is just my .02 having been very active for over 25 years. I now enjoy the benefits of being the regular of one or two ladies rather than the excitement from the flavor of the month, so to speak.
