Are you joking about the ladies answering that question? ha. ha.

Mentally you need to set yourself up for each new encounter with the possibility of being being let down.  I've seen so many 8 and 9 ratings I question if these reviewers have fucked anyone outside the hobby or if it's pure pandering.  Personally you need to have some standards and if the pict is a complete fake (and she's ugly) walk away.  If you still want to hit it:

Note the pictures were old.

Note she was probably not your type but YMMV. For all you know age and experience might do something for the next client.

I think the majority of reviewers think with the little head so when service is a 10 they assume looks between 8-10.

Don't write a review where you sound like an a-hole unless you really get ripped off, it might not be your cup of tea but someone else might want to drink it. Let people "read between the lines" if they need to.

This is for both ladies and gentlemen.  When pics on websites or ads mislead and the person that you meet face-to-face is different, then how does one handle that?  I know already that I have the option of walking away, or staying since I’m already there.  But I’m referring to total mis-advertising.  Here’s an example:  If I meet a provider whose photos are obviously airbrushed to the max.  I’m referring to that if she has facial wrinkles and other features way beyond depicted in the photos and other small imperfections.  Do I say so in a review, or do I give her average scores and not saying anything directly?  Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but to purposely deceive is different.  I do like truth in advertising.  I would be disappointed if I’m expecting a person depicted in the pics, and when the door opens, I meet someone who looks like my mother.  Definite downer.  What to do?  And do I tell her, or say it in a review without sounding like an ‘a-hole’?

I think there are some gray areas when it comes to a lady's marketing. Some might say its any lady's prerogative when it comes to lying about her age, or even using some amount of photo-shopping.   Its one think to try looking 5 years younger, 10 lb lighter, or a couple of inches thinner, but going beyond that is false advertising in my book.  I don't sweat it if its just a small exaggeration such as claiming a C-cup vs a B-cup, or hiding a little baby-fat.

If you had the chance to walk away then I would be less understanding of being vindictive with a review.  It doesn't mean you shouldn't be forthcoming about her appearance however, and to point out the accuracy of the photos.   After-all, if its as bad as you are suggesting, why would you stay and go through with the session?

Regardless, we expect reviews to be honest.  There is nothing worse than a review that are leave one to believe that the ads or photos are accurate and to me that's almost making the reviewer an accomplice to the deceptive provider.

I can find no fault in anything that you wrote.  I do however, wonder if others have the same dilemma because when I read the reviews of the same provider.  Like I said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but the same provider has appearance scores that range from 5 to 9 or 10 within the same year is a little too wide ranged.  I could see using the same rationalization as you mentioned of a range between 6 & 8.  That would make more sense.  I would not try to evaluate a performance score in such a fashion.  Appearance goes well beyond having a bad hair day for the wide range previously mentioned IMHO.

Thanks oleoneeye.

Agreed.  You don't want to be an ass in a review because being vindictive can make people think you are the one being deceptive.  But the review system is only as good as the what's in the reviews and when they are misleading then we all lose.
