Since you asked about tc_Bloom Specifically.  I have supplied you an exact account of what was missing below my response to your comments.

Response to comments:

Precursor; since I was not included in making the decisions on any of the TER rules, I can not state what they are looking for or what they were thinking in making their policies.  I will share with you my thoughts of what the intensions may be based on my view points after reading all of the policies and comments I have heard since I have been a member of the TER Discussion boards.

First, is the lady safe to see/legit.  For the ladies it helps also for them to see if guys are safe/legit.  Other screening and precautions are suggested, but everything helps us feel and appear safer.

Most everyone that reads reviews is looking for a general idea of what they will encounter with a lady of their choosing by reading the reviews.  But everyone also agrees that YMMV in a great many things as some reviews are purly based on guys preferences and everyones likes and dislikes are different.

That said on to your comments:
1) Mini-reviews are a good way of getting information about a local provider where something is new, like a rate or menu change, and the lady is not one who posts here.  Also, posting a mini-review is a lot quicker than writing a review.

I would hope that if a lady has changed her menu or rates that she would have done so in her ads for good business practices.  Most specials are also announced on the discussion board.  Permanent changes should be done via the problem reports and provider profiles and website ad.  in a case of misrepresentation, B & S or ripoffs, I don't think any of those posts get pulled down as it is necessary for everyones safety.  Quicker(yes) but it also dissapears in a day or two and then the same questions comes up conctantly because we all kow that many people do not use the search functions on this site.  I see many people say(do a little research).  Full reviews give the lady credibility and the guys as the reviews are attached to them directly.  I also realise that many gents do not want to write reviews, honestly, they are of little help to any other hobbyist/provider that uses the site in TER's viewpoint.  It is about building the site and membership whether we agree or not.

2)  Why limit mini-reviews on travelers to those who are not well reviewed?  It may not be obvious to many what city a traveler's provider's reviews are under, particularly if the lady started out in a different city than the one she currently lives in or if her initial reviews are from some city that just happened to be the first one she traveled to when she started out by joining an agency that promptly sent her touring.

If the lady has reviews and has the reviews link next to her name in her ad, it should not matter where she started and where she is calling home now.  the reviews should be a mouse click away for everyone.  If she wants gents to see her reviews and she is not reviewed on TER she should have a link to those reviews on her website to make them a mosuse click away for everyone.  She may even be so inclined to put some of the reviews right on her website.  Again from most everything that I have heard, people only use the reviews to get legitamacy of a provider and her not being LE everything else is based on inflated numbers and personal likes and dislikes to create the ratings.  YMMV comes into play.  Also a thing to keep in mind for everyone and I can't think of a single lady out there that would dissagree with me.  Put your mini right on her TER ad!  It won't be removed then as everyone is welcome to promote a lady in her ad!  Shilling is left alone if it is contained within the ladies ad as well.

IMHO, mini-reviews are a great way for us to exchange information and all these restrictions TER has come up with are unnecessary and will reduce TER's usefulness, as well as irritating a good number of people.

Is it an ego thing to be able to start ones own thread?  I don't know, but I can't see a reason for having countless single line posts started instead of striging them together under common Thread.  I don't see it as limiting information as much as directing the information to collaborative places.  Keep all positive things within the ladies ad thread and the negative stuff in a single self standing thread.

A good example is the 2 threads started 4 aprt about the same provider?  Whoooo hooo two people got to start their own thread!  instead of the second one being placed under the first one to keep all the information collectively together and easier to find.  I have requested to find out if it would be possible to have me be able to move a post under another thread and I am still waiting for a response to that.

But the powers that be don't seem to want you hobbyists to have that information - info that would definitely have helped prospective hobbyists.

This board is now completely useless.

Goodbye.

Pay close attention to the first requirement.

Mini- Review Guidelines
Posted by Board Admin, 4/20/2009 3:59:49 PM

Per TER posting guidelines, reviews of any type are not allowed on discussion boards, because their proper place is in the review database.  However, the use of mini-reviews is warranted by the need and desire of hobbyists to share review information on visiting providers whose local availability may have ended by the time a formal review is submitted and approved. Based on those conditions, mini-reviews are allowed on the discussion board, provided they meet the guidelines below.

Mini-Reviews may not be posted on local providers, regardless of whether they have TER reviews or not.  Local providers will still be here next week, so no sense of urgency exists on sharing review information.

Mini-Reviews may only be posted on visiting providers with 3 or fewer TER Reviews.  If a provider already has 4 or more TER Reviews, a Mini-Review is not needed -- look up the existing TER Reviews in the database.

Mini-Reviews may only be posted on visiting providers with 4 or more TER Reviews if none of the TER Reviews were posted within the past 3 months.

Mini-Reviews may only be posted by established TER members with 5 or more existing TER Reviews.

Mini-Reviews may only be posted using your TER reviewer username - aliases may not be used.

Only one Mini-Review thread per visiting lady is allowed.  Additional Mini-Reviews by other members may be added to the original Mini-Review post.

The Subject line of a Mini-Review post should be structured as follows:

As I never saw it, I have no idea what the problem was.  Quite frankly, the restrictions on mini-reviews seem to be designed to discourage them greatly as they are limited to travelers with no more than 3 reviews (unless they are all older reviews) as I read it.  I suspect mini-reviews will pretty much die out as few people will bother making the effort when the odds are their post will be yanked.

Here are some points that occur to me.

1) Mini-reviews are a good way of getting information about a local provider where something is new, like a rate or menu change, and the lady is not one who posts here.  Also, posting a mini-review is a lot quicker than writing a review.

IMHO, mini-reviews are a great way for us to exchange information and all these restrictions TER has come up with are unnecessary and will reduce TER's usefulness, as well as irritating a good number of people.

I know you all like to do mini-reviews and I do see the importance of them.
This board, for a time, had a weekly thread  where the guys could post their choice for provider of the week.   My suggestion would be to bring this back.  Instead of having a bunch of one or two line posts of Mini-reviews, there could be ONE weekly thread about all the positive experiences hobbyists had that week, in essence, a compilation of mini-reviews.  This way, the local ladies would have equal chance of representation as the touring ladies, regardless of their review history and the guys wouldn't have to worry if their mini-review was in compliance of the TER policies.

I think it could work beautifully and would be a happy compromise to all involved...hobbyists, ladies, TER admin, and the mods!

Hugs, Belinda

Put the ladies name in the header and a link to her photos or website in body and rock on!

-- Modified on 6/4/2009 10:22:45 AM

This board is starting to change. Get real who cares if there is multiple treads for the same issue. It has been very helpful to see the mini- reviews to see if they are legit and to get information.  For me I have stopped providing reviews since they were rejected for various reasons(reviews were positive)and became a hassel to submit.

Let the ladies post their pictures that is the point of this site for a little information and eye candy.

"I would hope that if a lady has changed her menu or rates that she would have done so in her ads for good business practices. It is about building the site and membership whether we agree or not."

Menus are often not posted in ads and trying to figure out accurate rates for some ladies between their TER profile (if they have one) and their various ads can be difficult.  A post can help clear up the confusion.  Yes, they roll off the first page quickly but that doesn't strike me as a good reason to disallow a mini-review.  It would also be nice if we remembered to use the search function more but again the fact that many do not is not IMHO a good reason to restrict such posts.  Making the site less useful is not going to grow TER's business.

"If the lady has reviews and has the reviews link next to her name in her ad, it should not matter where she started and where she is calling home now.  the reviews should be a mouse click away for everyone. Shilling is left alone if it is contained within the ladies ad as well."

You are assuming the lady that is the subject of the ad has a current ad and has linked her profile to her handle.  That is often not true.

I have no problem with the far more civil tone the board has gotten of late.  I think it is a very good thing.  However, some of what is happening goes too far the other way and makes it harder to have a useful exchange of information.

No disputes in what you mentioned.

Like I said at the beginning of my post.  It was just my interpretation of what TER Admin is trying to accomplish based on my views after reading all the rules they have in place.

No looking from MY perspective, the reviewers board to me is where most of the discussion over what we see and feel about sessions should be posted.  Like the provider board, it is private and far more open for comments and eliminates the need for PM's and back channeling.  It benefits those that do reviews and allows those to gain info from then.  Since it does have minimums for reviews to gain access, those that do not do them would be incouraged to do so to have access to interpretations by fellow hobbyists and talk freely about pricing, old or fake photos.

Mini reviews, shill posts and the like.

It's too bad he didn't write a review. I would have found that more usefull

Ever since we were blessed(?)with new moderators especially "notsopeacefullsoul" it seems like we are now in a "gestapo state".  New moderators need to get a meaningful real life instead of spending 24x7 on ter acting like some 19 yr old army enlistee that has just gotten their honorary platoon leader stripes and has way over inflated impression of their self importance.  Do you not have anything else going on in your life besides this board. Apparently not much. I agree new moderators especialy "notsopeacefullsoul" are now ruining this board.

to silence this board completely? Many people on here know what this used to be. loosen up!

Which is really silly considering you are
bad mouthing the mod. and he can see your real ID.

There are some people on here that have their balls attached to the use of an alias.  I got a kick out of the use of an alias to attack a Mod.  You're right the Mod knows who it is, go figure.

it would take me to long to do a full review, cutting and pasting, looking up fields to see they were all field in etc, etc. It would take me 3 tries to get the review posted i just quit doing them for the most part. Call me lazy, stupid or whatever. Not either just not that computer savy. If the process was less complicated I would have 16 more reviews. Signed with my alias Dumbass.
