Actually, I had a lot of fun zip-lining across the amusement park.  Also...If you walk around each of the floors..(the mayo mile) it's equivalent to a 5K?

Have fun and enjoy yourself!

They don't have the samples anymore. At least the last few times I went they didn't. I bought this 15yr cheddar there that was kind of gritty. I won't go over 9yrs anymore...

Such a great restaurant, you'll forget you're in a mall. Great food, but the service really brings it home. Every waiter is such a pro.

Beyond that, I don't think it's much different from most malls anymore; just bigger, and like Kyra implies, it's kind of a hassle getting in and out. Take a look at the expansion, though. I hear it's enormous.

(Why I am getting turned on writing this?)

Check out the rainforest cafe -- the food is nothing to write home about, but I like the atmosphere and the gift shop is pretty neat. Though I think I liked it better when they had real parrots there, they don't seem to have real animals there anymore :( Still fun though.

full agreement on "leaving the mall..." i always feel this way, the handful of times i go there. Since my first visit (yrs ago) i continue to have worries about their emergency preparedness / security. Hate to be a "downer" but convince me otherwise.
it's not the place i want to be when trouble arises. Perhaps there's more preparedness than i think, but it seems to be a place where any emergency (fire, "disturbance of he peace / confrontations..., act of terrorism? ..."could do damage to a crowd easily.  i'm not LE, but have friends who are, and several of them agree on this point.
So hit Brookstone (always fun to handle gadgets) and cruise the food court for naughty treats.

Agree with your restaurant and a hassle.  Go during off times like middle of the day M-F if you hate crowds like me

As one who spent thousands(literally!!) of hours working on the Mall when it was built, it took me 15 years to go back there as a visitor/customer/client. I have come to appreciate some of the unique stores there and I can finally almost enjoy going there, but my true pleasure when I do go there is the wonderful people watching! There is some very good food there....TC Grill mentioned above is one of my faves.....but for a visitor coming in, you will enjoy your experience there. I would make a great tour guide, but honestly, there is something I'd likely enjoy much more......

Hi Casey.

The Rainforest Cafe is closed currently. They are moving it to the third floor right next to Buffalo Wild Wings and across the hall from Bubba Gump if I'm not mistaken. I'm not sure when it re-opens in the new location.

Sigmund.

It was a giant exhibit dedicated to Barbie. It is actually now closed while they set up the next exhibit.

Can't advise you on the sweat except to perhaps exercise more but there are signs that tell you where everything is. Pretty easy to get from point A to point B.

... every store and point of interest, at least to poke our heads in so we could say we saw it. After a very long day we gave up after seeing about 80% of it. Since then, it's undergone two major expansions. So, there's no way one could take it all in during one or even several visits. I compare it to Disney World or Las Vegas; you accept that you'll never see  everything it has to show you but you just decide to keep returning and keep experiencing as much as you can, if that's your thing. I was always puzzled that they didn't include at least a couple of hotels attached to the MOA when it was first built and amazed that it took until their second expansion to finally add...one. Even tho there are many hotels in very close proximity to MOA and parking in the ramps is free, I would be much more likely to spend more time there if I could just get a room attached to it and come and go as I pleased.

I worked at that joint for 10 years.  I could give you the full tour up/down/in/out and tell you the full story of what it was like to be locked down there on 9/11 and the other day the place was locked down/closed due to the felon guy that was loose and thought to be in the mall plus a million other wild stories.

If you like rides at all, they have at least 2 great amusement park rides there.

For sushi I love Tiger Sushi, although the new location is not as cool, the food is still great.

If you have nieces or nephews or other kids in your life the Lego store is nice.

The movie theater is also decent.

I also like the layout as you can walk some nice mileage while there.

This mall seems to be standard issue.  Nobody has mentioned anything that I can't get or eat at home.  I will still go of course.  lol  I may even buy something at sephora.  But I can eat buffalo wild wings and get something from Brookstone in Boston lol.  For the record the rain forest cafe sucks. Perhaps I will stumble across something unique later today when I arrive.  😊

It's basically just a huge mall with an amusement park in the middle.  And because it is so big it takes longer to get in and out of.  It's been years since I went there because I wanted to buy or see something there.
