I have never had an issue in or around Loring Park. Does it mean I would just go hang out there at 2am? No, probably not, but then again there are a lot of places I probably wouldn't be at 2am.
Here's the thing, it is an urban park. Yes crime happens in urban parks, but Loring Park is far from overrun with crime. The answer lies in your personal comfort level being in that type of setting. If you are a person who is aware of your surroundings chances are you'll be fine. To me the worst part about the Loring Park area is 1. Hennepin/Lyndale is all torn up so getting around there right now sucks and 2. Parking is always tight. If you want truly unbiased information about the level of crime there got to the Minneapolis Police Department's website, they have an interactive map that will show you reported crimes for anywhere in the city, you can see for yourself how many crimes have been reported there and what types of crimes they are and judge how you want to proceed. (By the way because I know how to find that type of information quick I included a link below to the map. In the park itself since January 1st there have been a total of 6 reported incidents, 5 robberies and 1 assault
I would like to find out from local residents what their opinion is about the safety of Loring Park.
Is Loring Park a safe area for individuals to visit?
Is crime prevalent in the park?
Note: I was scheduled to meet with a visiting provider this morning. I was not able to contact her by telephone upon my arrival to her location. She later sent me a message on Preferred411. She had been going for a jog in Loring Park every morning during her stay in Minneapolis. Unfortunately, she was attacked and robbed on Monday. Her telephone was stolen in the incident. Thus, she could not contact me to alert me about her inability to make the appointment.

I wanted to give the young woman the benefit of the doubt and believe her story. However, I had doubts about her truthfulness.
She mentioned in her first response to my inquiry to her on Preferred411 that she had been robbed while touring in Boston earlier in the month of September.
It is either terrible luck to be robbed in two different cities or she relies on the fabrication to justify or explain her behavior.
Additionally, she mentioned that her phone was stolen in the Minneapolis incident. She has logged on to Preferred411 at least twice since the incident. She has not changed or removed the telephone number from her profile.
Note: The provider in question (Kelly Mae -- TER ID 307082) did receive a new review from an area hobbyist during her visit.
screams of she did a dirty on ya. Thank you for sharing so the bro's that like the traveling Xo's know better then waste time and more importantly his screening info.
Girls behaving badly need need to be shared in a professional and caring manner as you did. Just like boys behaving badly
