I agree that hygiene is crucial for BOTH parties in the biz.  No doubt.  I also agree that asking for a refund isn't going to fly for the reasons you gave.  A shower is a partial solution, but if there is stink, there is a problem.  Not sure about anyone else, but if I know something funky's going on down there, I'm not going down and probably won't FIV just because whatever is there is still there after the shower.  It didn't go away.  To me, this is akin to a massage provider trying to do a FBSM while Aunt Flo is in town.  It just doesn't work.  Depending on the client/provider relationship, he might have been able to ask her about it, but if it's a first-time meeting, it would be awkward at best.  I think the onus is on her in this case.  But still.....  write the review!!!
