I am not an expert by any means, but I have had great fun at Rics. Excellent "contact" at either VIP area.
I am going to checkout the new Rhino this week, hope it's enjoyable.

Have stopped into the Downtown Cabaret a couple of times in the past year on trip to the cities.   A good club.  Dancers are on average about 7 or 8 out of ten.   About half are very friendly and with a good tip become very friendly.   Was going to take a dancer named Toni back to the VIP but she got busy (guess I wasn't the only one that wanted to take her back to the private rooms).    I think but not sure the VIP room cost around $125 not sure on the amount time that gets you.  Hope this helps some.

It's been awhile since I've visited a strip club, and I am one who does go alone which most of the time stops me from going, because I don't want to be looked at like the creepy guy.  The times I have gone I like KOD for a couple reasons, first they serve alcohol, I think theres only been a couple times I've gone and seen a couple girls that I did not find attractive, plus they have the $1 draws from 330 - 530.  Another one I've gone to is Choice, but while the ladies were good, the entry and drink fee I felt were crazy.  I've only been to the Vue once and wasn't impressed.  I know there are numerous other ones but I guess if I'm going to spend money for a dance and rub on me I'd rather spend that money on a massage and have mutual touch and know that a HE is going to happen.  There used to be a place in Lawrence Kansas that some how operated as a BYOB strip club and you could touch while getting a lap dance.  The girls would do topless lap dances and you were allowed to touch and some would even allow touching over the bottoms.  Of course on a weekend night that place would be full of college students since it was not to far from Kansas University.  I worked at a restaurant and after work there would be a group of 10-12 guys and girls.  We would of course buy the girls with us lap dances and a lot of the time the dancers would take off the tops of the girls they were dancing for.  More than a couple times we went as a group and myself and one of the girls would get so horny we would sneak outside and have a quickie.  Those were the good ol' days!!

The following from somebody (me) that has spent way too much time and money in Mpls strip clubs over the years. Choice used to be the go to place in Mpls with good looking dancers and decent 2 way contact ie 10 or so years ago. I have a couple friends that danced there during that era and still know the environment pretty well. Since then it has gone steadily & progressively down hill to the point where today it is the opposite with barely any contact and the quality of the dancers has sadly deteriorated.  All the girls now aggressively push your hands out to the side!! There is an immediate strong up sell & hustle to go upstairs to VIP, even before you get to the down stairs couches and have a chance "to get motivated a little". Cover has gone up to close to 20 bucks. Choice is loosing girls left and right because they can't make any $$$ there.  For what they charge for VIP (short time 15 minutes $200 or 30 $300 minutes), a person could call a quality escort for an hour of fun with next to no rules at all except common sense. As clubs go these days I would recommend Dream Girls as the best dances in town now (sorry no details but well worth their spendy cover). The quality of dancers has also gone up significantly in recent months. The new Spearmint Rhino is also high on the list for quality of girls and the dances are very good. Plus it is classy and run very professionally and not a dump like The Choice. All of the Rhino employees are very courteous friendly and professional, The girls are better then average quality with some of the out of town Rhino girls that they fly in periodically(typically from Cali) being 10+. What ever you do don't waste your money at Choice.  In fact I tried one more time last week to see a favorite and she was in a foul mood because of the most recent rent increases and this was her last night before leaving for another club. As a result of her mood and lack of enthusiasm I had one dance and left never to return. KOD is an ok neighborhood like hangout with $10 one way minimal contact dances & some decent looking girls who mostly all hang with their regulars. Keep in mind that if you want to avoid "groups of bros" & bachelor parties definitely avoid KOD at all costs, especially on Fridays and Saturdays in June....At times it is just bachelor party central!!
It has taken me a while but I am convinced you can waste way too much money at these clubs and definitely do have more fun for longer period of time for same or less $$$ by reading some reviews and picking up the phone.
