Yesterday I discovered this blog,  http://alexlieberman.wordpress.com/.  It was so interested that I sat and read it from begging to end in one sitting.  I recommend that you give it a read and share some feedback.

For the moderators.  the blog doesn't not advertise this women, she does not even use her real name, nor her real escort name.  It is just a blog talking about her adventures as an escort.  She make no financial gain from her blog.

I am all for poking fun at guys who smell and do not shower (gross...lol), but not overweight men. A lady can have a preference to not see overweight men without humiliating an entire segment of the hobby population. So I found that particular blog entry to be in bad taste. I have had many overweight clients and the idea that someone is poking fun at them on a public site saddens me. Of course she says the whole point of her site is to make light of everything in a blunt manner.

Anyway, you're right, TheLapDoctor, that her blog certainly isn't for everyone. I am not an avid reader, but I peek my head in every so often if not just to see what's she is up to.

one thing I found very interesting is that according to her, fake pictures are commonplace, even up to her $300 per hour agency. Apparently not that many guys complain when they request a thin blonde with large tits and they get a slim brunette with medium package. And her response to those who do complain is seemingly: stick it.

I saw the author on an interview with Chelsea Lately.  A very funny concept.  They have now made a tv show out of it with William Shatner.  

I read some of Alex L's blog.  Even commented on one of them but as a read more I began to realize that, just like her writings are not for everyone, her experiences as a provider are not the same as everyone's.  I would caution that her writings and views are uniquely her own and in no way reflect the myriad unique and real experiences of every other provider out there.  

Many things she writes about are things that I have never, ever gone through, experienced, or thought in my four plus years as an escort.  So, while she is creative and a funny writer, and I sometimes question whether she is a real escort, or instead if is she very adept and writing about what she thinks escorts might go through, I wouldn't place much validity on her comments except that they speak to her experience, not other girls in the business.

Then again, she lives in Atlanta.. supposedly.. very different from the Mpls scene.  

But that's the only point I wanted to make.  The typical reader should not assume that they know the inside outs of the providing world by reading her blog.  They should only assume that they know the reality of Alex Leiberman.

Great reading (and writing)! She should write a book - like the guy on Twitter who ended up writing "Shit My Dad Says".  If you haven't seen his site, well worth a peak!

Sure. It's simple. You get a bad review so you call a "friend" to write you a good one.
You blog does not make me angry or happy, but it does make me scratch my head and not out of confusion either. Your words are simplistic and not at all confusing.

Taking shots at someone from behind an alias doesn't exactly make one credible.  And unless there is reason to believe the review details are faked, is it really a problem?  I figure that sort of thing happens pretty frequently.

Your point about not taking her experiences as representative of escort's experiences as a whole is well taken.  I thought about that as I was reading her blog and the big differences between what she said and what others have told me.

It would be interesting to read her reviews though.

Thank you so much (everyone) for your comments. I recieved an e-mail today letting me know there was a post on this board about my blog.  I am a true provider in Atlanta and these are my true experiences. It is definitely from my point of view although I do have escort friends and have found my experiences are not so different from theirs.

I am glad you are enjoying the blog. My posts are not for everyone. Some may make you laugh while others will have you angry or scatching your head in confusion.

As far as my post about heavy men, sorry but the truth is the truth. I never disparage their personalities and if you read it closely it is MY feelings about sleeping with over weight men. I don't think I'm making fun of them as much as I am making fun of the difficulties that comes with having sex with a man of that size. It is harsh but I think we all think and have experienced things that we would never say out loud. Becuause no one knows who I actually am I can say them....welll write them. One of the many beauties of anonymity.

In 2003, Chris Rock hosted the MTV music awards. That year, the music scene was ablaze with acts like Ricky Martin, NSYNC, DMX, Eminen, Puff Daddy, etc. Chris Rock came out and for his opening monologue delivered the most outrageous and hysterically funny set I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. That was the year he told Ricky Martin (while Ricky Martin was sitting in the audience!) that if he didn't get another hit song soon, he wouldn't be singing La Vida Loca, it would be La Vida Broka!

And it wasn't just limited to Ricky Martin, he vaporized a host of other stars that were also sitting in the audience. He skewered Justin Timberlake for trying to act black, calling him a Mickey Mouse celebrity. He roasted Puff Daddy for having the temerity to offer fatherly advice on his tv show. He made Jermaine Dupree's relationship to Janet Jackson the butt of a thousand jokes with the legendary rip: 'Even I had a chance!"

And he thoroughly depantsed R. Kelly when he noted that because the Olsen Twins were seated in the front row, R. Kelly had to be seated waay up there.

It was bold, it was audacious and it was brilliant comedy.  Of course some people didn't like it. It was disrespectful they said, because all those celebrities were sitting right in the audience and Chris Rock had no right to embarrass them on national tv like that.

But Chris Rock was doing nothing more than saying what people were already thinking. He just had the balls to say it out loud on stage, and right in front of the very people he was mocking.

Which brings me to Miss Lieberman. It's not difficult to see why she would ruffle some feathers with her blog. She operates in a manner similar to Chris Rock. Take no prisoners, expose the bullshit each and every time you see it.

And there are fewer circles who hate the exposure of bullshit more than the world of pay for pleasure, where some people spend years carefully crafting personas to feed their egos. When someone comes along on the inside with the audacity to expose the truth to those images, all hell can break loose.

Again to make the analogy to Chris Rock, Miss Leiberman is doing nothing but speak truthfully as to her own experiences in the life. Truthfully and just like Chris Rock, self deprecatingly. She never takes herself as above what she sometimes mocks. She knows that she is just as guilty as the fat fuck huffing on top of her. She's a hard dose of reality from those ladies who want you to believe that they are always in control and life as a provider is candles and showers and peaches and cream.

What I like about her writing most is her endearing trait of brutal honesty. She will admit when she's being a bitch. She doesn't sugar coat her love of money, and she will not hesitate to call out those who take themselves or the hobby far too seriously.

I couldn't care any less about her redacted or truthful reviews or how she feels about fat people. I enjoy her wickedly funny takes on the life, her thought provoking introspectives and the lesson she often seems determined to impart.

Again she certainly isn't for everyone but she sure is for me. As the OP noted above, once you start reading, you practically devour the entire blog from start to finish. It is a talented writer who makes you hunger for more.

In my opinion, she is hands down the best writer/escort I have ever read. And yes, that includes Diablo Cody.

You are right vorlon. It does happen, but when a provider gets a bad review she calls in a favor to review over it, it rubs me the wrong way. Pretty stupid to admit it if you ask me. They are her words after all.

I am also allowed to use an alias which I do as the rule, not the exception. Trust me, you have agreed with me many more times then not.

After the bad review from the Marlboro Grandpa was posted, I noticed a drop off in business.  I figured it was a good thing, I needed a break anyway.  But a week later and it was still slow.  Something needed to be done.  It was too late to complain to the powers that be at TER… and what was I going to complain about?  The fact that some repulsive smelly old man told the truth? No, I just had to let that one go.  I needed a new review.  Correction, I needed a great review.

I called a regular client of mine and asked for a favor.  He had never reviewed me (he doesn’t review) and asked him to write me a stellar one.  He wrote it and I was back in business.  In fact, I was up to my ass in asses!  I didn’t look at it as a fake review.  It wasn’t like he lied.  He had seen me, enjoyed his time with me, so much so that he was now a regular.  Let’s call it a “manipulated” review.

You have your opinion and I have mine. We should just leave it at that.
I did enjoy your Chris Rock analogy though. It is much more recent then the marlboro man who has probably been dead for the last 20 years.

Why is that stupid to admit? You have no idea who the hell I am. That is one of the points of the blog. I can admit to a lot of things I would never say or admit to if I was writing this under my real name. If that was the only thing that bothered you then you are much more tolerant than I give you credit for. That or you are really misguided and take the "hobby" way too seriously. Regardless of how many other times we agree, this is not one of them.  One of the things that rubs me the wrong way is going after people using an alias; I have seen it used far too often just to cause trouble.

And yes, I did read her words and I reread them now.  So long as the review was accurate, I see no harm or deception.  Far better that than her trying to have the review taken down or having guys go on the discussion board to blast the reviewer.

The way I read it, she asked a regular client who didn't normally review to write one for her.  She gave him no direction to lie or overstate the appointment.  If he was a regular, he obviously would have written a good/great review, there was no need for her to ask him to lie.

The one thing I've gotten from her blogs is that she's honest, maybe sometimes to a fault.  So it would be out of character for her to ask for a fake review.  What she did was solicit a review that she knew would be favorable.  Given the circumstances I don't think she did anything wrong.

Let me ask you as a fellow hobbyist, if your ATF asked you to write a review, wouldn't you write a stellar one?  Even if she didn't ask you to go that far????  Be Honest.

What is the difference between a requested review and a spontaneous review? If they are both truthful, what is the problem? I see none at all.

Let us put the shoe on the other foot. Say you, the client, ask a provider to give you a reference to see another provider. She then has to tell the other provider that you are OK, and at least meet her minimum standards. That is an example of a provider reviewing a client, at the client's request. Is there a problem here? Happens all the time.

If she is in fact a hooker she's a troll, NFW would any ho who looks halfway human not capitalize on the notoriety. The fact that she is incognito tells me she's living her little fantasy life of weighing less than 250# and having all her teeth.

I meant every word of what I said. Listen, long time ago, I was listening to the radio and this song came on, full of  spare piano rumbles and a lady with a raspy voice. It was the first time I had ever heard the song and I was immediately hooked. Just a beautiful song with pounding dramatic piano chords. My sister who was listening at the time, told me to 'Turn that crap off!'

I remember thinking, are you crazy?? This song is going to be huge! The song was Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of The Heart. A #1 Billboard topper that sold over 6 million copies.  Now I'm not saying that you are going to be huge, from my words to God's ears, I hope you will, but I say this to note that for whatever reason, I am blessed/cursed with the eye and ear for these things. On some levels, I can make the connection between certain things amazingly easy and see the outcome before it's revealed.

What convinced me about your writing was the post: Role Play. I have read and I subscribe to dozens of dancer blogs, escort blogs, massage blogs, you name it, and that post there was like a bucket of ice cold Lake Minnetonka water being dumped on me. It is a brilliant piece of writing, brutally honest self assessment and for those willing to admit the truth, would resonate with anyone even remotely connected to the life.

From a guy's perspective I agree 100%. Much as we would like to believe it is just an innocent little hobby, there has to be something wrong somewhere, that makes us seek what we know we can't find in total strangers.

It's funny to read some of the angry responses to your writing. Role Play pretty much gives an idea of who they are, but like they say, if you're not pissing someone off, you're not doing a very good job. So don't laugh at the Doc. Them there some gold in that your fingers.
