Just an observation.

A few years ago, well maybe 6 or 8, there were typically 80 or 90 ads on Eros. Today there are 53. Would seem to  me that the number would go up with a poor economy.

From what I have heard, EROS is more expensive than some other places and they ask for more information than some providers are comfortable giving out.

EROS used to refer to posted pics as being "verified" photos.
Meaning I assumed that EROS "verified" the photos...lol
With DL's, websites, with an actual verification process!...
Now images @ EROS have Published on Eros.com which
means little or nothing as to any "verification" process....
Possibly someone with vision issues does the "verifying!"!

With just a quick glance these MN EROS providers are currently
posting stolen or very old terribly PS'd pics.. Jen, Kelly, Heather....

Miss Katie or Plastic or whatever she goes by currently's posted stolen
PS'd photos of Jesse James of Digital Underground on her EROS website....
Do you think that the pics were 'verified' by Digital Underground as stolen?! lol

When the biggest Midwest bait & switch total fucking fraud bullshit artist of all time......
AAA Perfect 10 is posting old/stolen 1980's pics again on EROS.... i rest my case!

I'd see a good $250 provider once a week. The one's I've been interested in seeing are all in the $350-$500 range. The economy  has hit me pretty hard, and $300+ is unfortunately out of my league these days. Also, a clean in call is a real plus-doesn't have to be the Taj Mahal.

I actually know the old numbers pretty well, because I had posted some theories about them years ago.  Back in 2001-2002 there were usually roughly 50 locals and 5-ish travelers on Eros.  Then in about 2003 there was a huge wave of MN providers that almost overnight went from $200 to $300, which put them at the same price as the Miami-based travelers.  A huge mistake in my book, because that was the seminal move that opened Minneapolis to travelers.  They used to stay away because they were over priced, but once MN literally passed up NYC and Boston in average price, the travelers had no reason to stay away from MN....  And in they came like a tidal wave.  All through 2004-2007, the average month on Eros was 50-60 locals and 50-ish travelers, a 10x increase in traveler volume.  And gradually, all but literally only 3-4 remaining regulars from that era got pushed out.  Welcome to free market economics.  Eros was still up around 120 ads or so when I faded from the scene in '07 time frame.

I think a lot of Miami busts in 2007-2009, plus airfares, plus the economy, have really quieted down the traveler market.  Some of those huge agencies, like Miami Companions, had almost 300 travelers back in the glory days.  Taylor's Elite, Window of Elegance...  there were a lot of really big traveler agencies that one by one got busted.  And without a doubt, the number of regular, well-known locals has dropped a lot since 2007.

no doubt. I have seen way too many local regular providers DROP  they're rates.    some by 50%!  not me. and I'm not saying I know whether that was the best idea.    so I had to find  other ways to stay available but still make $.

I just don't like how they want way more personal info than needed on top of the price they charge
