Personally, I am available for same day-appointments- but I require several hours notice and the closer-in to the requested time the less likely I am able to accommodate it or even willing to consider it.

I work in another capacity and I do not maintain a static incall location.  The sessions which I typically book justify dedicated incall (pending the season/state of market hospitality & hotel rate trends) and I have no issues securing a location or traveling for an outcall.
However each require time for me to pack, travel and prepare myself to receive a guest.  Unless I am familiar with a longtime client and he instructs me to "relax" its not just a matter of me sitting in a hotel room- property security has to be assessed, candles have to be lit, mens products have to be lined up, I have to be surrounded by shoes and makeup brushes, champagne or wine has to be on ice and I have to stretch.  
Many of us have our own little unseen rituals which form to make what we hope will be your perfect session.
Unless you don't mind a harried hostess- consider her preparation for you.

I am better equipped to accommodate a last-minute appointment if verification is complete and I've established a sense of familiarity with the client through correspondence.

My libido doesn't adhere to a schedule and I wouldn't expect that a client's does either; frankly I'm surprised that there aren't higher rates of cancellation considering how long it takes me to abandon scrolling through my 'black book' after jilling off.

If your schedule is hectic, you don't keep regular business hours or you just never know when an opportunity will arise- contact the provider who you're most seriously interested in, explain your special needs, find out what her general scheduling procedure is and give her as much lead time as possible.

So this evening, as sometimes happens, I had a short, unexpected window of opportunity to enjoy a taste of the hobby.  As often happens, I had little advance notice that I would have this rare window of time.  Thus my need for a last-minute appointment.

I called one local stalwart provider--no answer.  Fair enough.

I called another well known, much reviewed provider.  She indicated that she *might* be able to accommodate my request, then asked if she could call me back in 2 min.  20 min later, I rang her phone.  Str8 to voicemail.  Ugh.

I'm not especially surprised, nor upset, but I would like to know if there is anything I can do to increase my last-minute odds (short of something that costs $$ or increases my exposure, like P411 and the like).

In truth, I was hoping that provider #2 was using her 2 minutes to google my mobile #, which should be blemish free (I'm one of those polite, clean types), but then....  Maybe she was watching the Oscars instead.  Lol.

So....any tips to increase last-minute appt. requests?

I have the same issue sometimes.  All of the sudden the time is right, but then who to call?  I've taken to creating a "short list" of candidates that well, isn't so short.  More like a top 10 list in order of priority.  Lots of advance research but then you have them all picked and ready to go?  Besides, I enjoy the anticipation and planning of these encounters so creating the short list is enjoyable.  I only wait 5 mins between calls becuase who knows what's going on in her world, but I certainly would have waited 10 as asked, but move on.

sometimes reviewed ladies let it be known there that they are looking for guys NOW.  You're not always going to get your first choice, but the likelihood of mutual interest is much greater.

Have a list and keep calling until you either strike out or someone is available.  You could also try pre-screening with some girls so that's out of the way when you are actually trying to get that short notice appointment.

Thanks for helping us all to understand (even if just a little) how really complicated it can be for a provider to prepare for an appointment.  I really had no idea.

Out of 20 or so interludes, I have had 3 no show situations.   All were last minute hook ups with ladies I'd not seen before.   If I want a last minute date I stick to those who know me.
