Is this board becoming a better place?

There are a few hobbyists that seem to have disappeared lately.  I will not miss their toxic and childish banter and hope that more women will stopping by to participate.  This actually seems to be slowly happening.  From personal experience over the last year, I have met a few new wonderful providers on here simply through dialogue and some private messaging.  It's so nice to be able to get to know someone a little bit before a meeting not to mention the benefit of being able to avoid the in depth screening that could lead to potentially catastrophic results if that information got out.    This isn't an anti-screening rant but that's just a line that I cannot cross.  I get it from the perspective of the provider though, this is about their safety and livelihood.  If we can maintain some decency, I think we will see a lot of new (and maybe some from the past) faces joining the conversation.

I think while there might be a slight uptick, the circus has moved on. Providers focus on other venues, such as Twitter.  TER is like the Myspace of Facebook.
