(rant - so fee free to ignore, though I'm naming names)

I into town every week to work and have tried to set up numerous appointments, only to be disappointed time and again! I am white listed on TER and have numerous OKs on P411, am polite and try very hard to be considerate. Normally I'm pretty easy going.

I had an appointment with Jess, but had to cancel several hours before due to a last minute business commitment. I tried several times to re-book to make it up to her, but she just hung up on me.

I tried to setup a couple of appointments with Poppy, but she was already booked. Disappointing but please note she was always very prompt nice in her correspondence.

I contacted Tiffany, who I'd seen in another city but she was going in for some surgery (which I hope went well), so was unavailable. Very nice young lady and highly recommended.

I've only had one date so far and that was with Lacy who, while pretty and nice, had a set of rules that were a little disappointing (no LFK or DFK, etc.).

I had an confirmed appointment scheduled with Casey but got a text a couple hours before telling me her period had started, so I opted out (sorry but that's a real buzz killer). I tried to re-book a couple of times for a week later, but she was already busy...

I set an appointment with Ashley and when she was 15 minutes overdue, I called her only to find out she had taken a nap and wasn't ready. OK, I understand so rescheduled the for the next night. Taking no chances, I texted her in the early evening to confirm, which she did. About 5 minutes before our appointment she texted to say she was running late. No worries says I. Then at 30 minutes overdue I get a text that "all appointments are cancelled." WTF?!?

So I'm writing this while I wait to see if the provider I just called will actually show up.

I'm sorry but I've tried a number of well reviewed providers in Minneapolis and have to admit that this town has proven VERY frustrating!!!

(OK, done ranting now)

Brother, I feel your pain. Most of us have had some bad runs of luck as well, but I think it's best to call it just that, bad luck (crummy timing) etc... I really didn't see anything flaky about most your experiences.

So you canceled on Jess and now she doesn't want to see you. I don't think that it's necessarily great business, but I wouldn't call it flaky.

Poppy was heavily booked. Nuthin flaky (or surprising) about that.

Tiffany is having surgery. She even announced it here so everyone would know. Again not flaky.

We have a few ladies named Lacy, but most don't list LFK or DFK as a service offered, so unless the one you saw listed it and then didn't offer it, I don't see anything flaky with her actions either.

Casey: Okay, not even going there. Not Flaky.

Ashley: You got me on that one. I don't know her and there may be an amazing story, but what you described is textbook flaky.

Don't let one flake turn into a blizzard in your mind. I can list at least 20 other ladies in this town that would have you singing a way different tune.

Maybe to tone of your rant comes across in your communications. Maybe they read your reviews whoever you are) and don't like what they see (before or after setting a time). And you do know that references are sometimes checked after setting up a time, right? Maybe they're not happy with what they hear. IDK ... are you mainly ranting because of being turned down??

All I see in you rant is one "flaky" experience.
How does that translate to "[all] the providers in this town ... ?"

We all need to vent sometimes.  Right or wrong, it is what it is.  However, he NEVER said ALL providers.  He, like all of you gentlemen, is simply trying to spend some down time with someone that will lift him up.  

All he needs right now is a little "Hey, I'm sorry man" from you guys and a little lovin' from the ladies to make up for it.  You all know Minnesota can bring it.  Show him that instead of being another disappointment.  If he gets too fed up, that can have a negative effect on our great local economy, if you catch my drift.

I don't know if I've dealt with any flakes.  The most frustrating thing for me is to just get someone to pick up the phone.  Once I've actually been able to talk with someone and make an appointment, I haven't had any real trouble.  I think you can chalk it up to just having a bad string of luck.  

But most of the behavior you describe is anything but flaky.  You just hit a streak of bad luck.

Since I wasn't able to actually see some if these ladies, my rant was, in part, to advise our community that some of these well reviewed providers were not as reliable as some might hope.

Today's another day and hope springs eternal...

Don't take it personally and don't take it to heart. Many ladies don't do this 24/7! One tip I can give is that you should see if a lady has listed herself as available (on her site, does she have dates/times? AVAILABLE NOW on EROS?). You listed that many ladies were booked or unavailable, and this simple extra step could help you solve that (IE my ad states I'm on SPRING BREAK! I also have a calendar on my site) That is a heads up that I have time available. I do NOT list my appointments on my calendar when I have one booked, not in my business strategy, but I will kindly deny the time you request if it is already booked AND suggest a different one!


All I can say is just keep trying, and you'll hook a winner soon enough!

That's the attitude I take, and it prevents a lot of frustration.  Providers are real people with real lives like all of us--things come up.  Appreciating that and letting them know that generates good will and good referrals, I believe.

Does seem like you have had your share with some established ladies lately though!  I admit sometimes you do have to wonder.  

It is also good to be aware that providers read your posts.  A lot of the good ones know everything that happens on here.  I know it is frustrating, and I believe in what I said.  However, you can be right or you can be effective.  As right as you might be in your rant, you have likely lessened your chances at actually setting something up, which is your main goal, right?

You mean, one lady had the gall to get her period right before you were to see her?  And had the courtesy to let you know, rather than letting you know when you got there?

And another is so great she's hard to schedule?  But is always professional in communications with you?

And another is hesitant to schedule with an out-of-towner she's never met after he bugged out of the initial appointment with a few hours notice?

As others have said, what you have had is a run of bad luck.  My advice is, keep a positive attitude, keep trying, and this run of bad luck is sure to end and you'll find out how great most of our local ladies are.  Yes, hope does spring eternal.  

However, good thing you posted under an alias because I do not think ladies will see you in a favorable light when you post a slew of names on the board.   Especially since several of them did nothing wrong.

The TC providers I've spent time with have been fun, intelligent, articulate and ohh.. hot and talented too!

I understand that you're disappointed.  I even feel your pain a little.  I don't get your need to "name names". It was completely irrelevant to the telling of your story and the point you were trying to make.  It's not cool, in my humble opinion.

His frustration is clear and even understandable. The little head wants what it wants when it wants it, and cares little for reasons why it can't have it.

With one arguable exception, no provider acted in a manner other than professional and appropriate. Even then, there was no NCNS.

On general principles, though, using Poppy's name for any reason other than to say how swell she is, is just tacky. Reminding us that she is low volume, and won't bend her rules to squeeze in another date when she is already booked, just makes me want to see her again.

Not that I need an excuse.

Have to agree with minn4evr.  To see Poppy's name on a thread like this for anything other than an example of how to conduct oneself with professional behavior is just asinine to me.
