b.  that you're now not around for the discussion.

Your "blackmailer" may now be
a.  outed  (in which case you have lost really valuable leverage)
b.  fully aware of all the advice given and thinking about how to counter it.

Why on earth did you decide to do this in a public forum without at least using an alias?  The events you describe and your action/inaction in this post make you look dense.  Get a grip! If you are really in these circumstances you need to get smart quickly, like right now.  Take the post down.

Incidentally Catrina's post is well worth reading.  A lot of the other stuff, not so much.  There is some very good advice available to you.  Do you get PMs?
