I have a feeling this will turn into a rant thread but I suppose that's ok..

If I had a dime for every time I thought winter was over (!) i'd be at least a little richer...

If I had a dime for every dollar that I've had STOLEN from me over the years,

I could buy a new Chevy Volt or even rough in a second story on my house!

I'd be living in my dream Condo on the Ocean.

..I got an email with no references, no specific day or time request, with a subject something like "Got time?" and not even signed with a name (!!)  I'd certainly cover my coffee money for the week!  Well at least that would be something!

a bartender mixed me a worthless Tequila Gimlet - I could start my own bartender school!! It should be made with:

3 oz.Milagro Select Barrel Reserve Silver Tequila
1 oz Simple Syrup
1/2 oz Cointreau
Juice of 1 lime

Shake that bad boy extensively with clear ice in a Boston Shaker, strain admiringly into a martini glass that JUST came from the freezer - drop in 1 maraschino cherry and ya got yourself a party!!

It's gotta be Blanco/Silver - It's gotta be shaken GOOD .... & the glass has got to be frozen ......!

FYI - Anejo & Extra Anejo Tequila gets lost in the lime juice and should only be sipped neat .......!

We all click them by mistake sometimes, but for board newbies, "eom" means "end of message," so don't bother clicking to see what's inside.

The only confusion comes when posters "re" an "(eom)" by not changing the subject line. Drives me a little further down my personal crazy road.

Makes it easier to see when new posts have arrived, particularly in longer threads as I scan through things.

... Vorlon's "Well I'm glad things got cleared up (eom)" post yesterday, just so I could "like" it.

one clicks on an "eom" post to see if the poster is an alias and if not, to look at their review history.  Or, to respond to a post and perhaps reconsider.  Don't sweat the small stuff.  

Still, sometimes you see as many or more reads on the "eom" posts as regular posts.

Two dimes, one for clicking on it and one for Liking on it.   i mean for clicking on the Like after I clicked on the....oh man, I'm getting dizzy.
