I was purusing some ads three weeks ago and one brunette caught my eye. I texted her and she she informed me the she was no longer in Minneapolis. "Will return soon" the text read. Since I knew she had her phone in her hand I called her and she picked up. I introduced myself and asked her when she was returning to the TC. She asked me if she had seen me before and I told her "No, but I do have references."  Then... she abruptly disconnected. "Wow!" I thought.  "That was strange." So I tried calling her agin and got a busy signal. Immediately after I called her the second time I received another text from her: "Not interested." What's up with that

But IMO she could have been more considerate in how she delivered that message. :-(

I think you need to work on your phone sex operator voice..

All honesty... You probably hit her up at a bad time.  She maybe out in public or somewhere conversation is not great.

wait until you see her ad again, and try again later

Or the sound of your voice caused her to drop the phone for instant self gratification. If that is the case, get a hold of me quick!

I really wish some people would follow that.
Sometimes no is just no & doesn't need a long explaintion of why.

Give the guy a break. Maybe he was  too aggressive, But STALKING??? Two very different things in my book.

Breadmaker, take a chill pill.....  Have some fun, it will do you wonders

For whatever reason she doesn't want to talk to you.  It's that simple.

Hi AmourTouche! Have you checked out my web site yet? I also have a couple adds on the add board, one introducing myself. My first reviews are being written. Patience please.

I think I've been in this a lot longer than you. I change handles often, so no reviews. But, I am well known to those who matter here. (The Ladies)

So, that being said, I am well aware of as you say "NO meaning NO."
Yes, he should have not called a second time, but he may be new to the hobby. We all need to learn the ropes. Breadmaker, I'm sure you made a few mistakes in the beginning, I know I did.

He thought a second call wouldn't hurt. It spooked the provider, so learn from the mistake and move on. That is far from stalking her, as you suggested.

 No harm, no foul.

Lets all keep it cordial to each other on the board and not try and start any train wrecks. We've had way too many of those in the last few years

There is nothing particularly unusual about the scenario the OP describes; I've heard of similar ones any number of times and had it happen myself  The OP appears more puzzled than anything else; he didn't attack the provider and didn't even mention a name.  I disagree that either he or the other person who responded to you has behaved like either a troll or a stalker.

Yeah he just got hung up on & she said not interested.
It is unusual for that to happen.

A sudden disconnect of a phone call doesn't equate to "no".  I don't know how many times I've had dropped cell calls, for various reasons.  And as was pointed out, after the provider did finally say No ("not interested"), the OP ceased communication.
