I was in the 'Rant and Rave,' section of the Mpls Craigslist and read a post I thought was interesting.

The poster was in a pawn shop looking for a watch.  While there he noticed several women selling various items of jewelry.  One in particuliar was very attractive and was disappointed in how much she could get for her items.  This led the poster to question the possibility of taking advantage of the situation.  I had never thought about it but it does seem like a date could be possible.  Has anyone else used a pawn shop to find a date?

This was in the mid 90's...
She was down and out after her check was denied. She didn't even have bus money. She asked for a couple bucks to ride the bus home and I offered a ride instead, which she accepted, then when we got near apt. she hit me up again for a few bucks or even a cigarette, which I said I had only brought enough money with me to go to Eutopian Health Spa and if I gave her any of it I wouldn't have enough to go there.... She got very quiet, then said "If you give me the money, I'll let you come up to my apt. and you won't NEED to go to the spa!" Which I did..... And she was right, I had a great, no rules time from a very nervous young first-timer, who ended up letting me stay the night.......

Did she become a provider or was it (at least as far as you know) a one time thing?
