I have not decided if this is a good thing or not.  I have found a few "diamonds in the rough" but I also have been disappointed most of the time.

I am sure the new adult section CL will put up will be a joke.  Every ad will be moderated and no graphic pictures allowed.  Who is going to use it.

I wonder if another vehicle on the internet will be found or do we just use Cityvibe and Backpages more?  The internet is not going away anytime soon.

What do other people think...

I've never used CL so I won't miss it.  It has seemed a to be a LE risk and a quality gamble. I prefer no surprises, I can't risk LE and don't like to waste my time.

More on Backpages on Cityvibe, some will try the Adult section of  CL, and there will probably be one or more "underground" or private boards.  How it will shake out in the long run who knows.

If, and it is a big if, there is a big drop off of beginners and low cost girls, will the prices currently being offered by the $250 and above stabilize or go up.  Or is the general malaise of the current economy more of a factor.  I suppose only time will tell.

shutting down one venue simply forces people to be more creative and to open up another.  Just watch. Craigslist will be down, something else will pop up.

Maybe a temporary dip until other ways of advertising take over.

PEBO can take on this industry, too much of it is underground. LOL
