I have noticed a lot of veteran hobbyist don't seem to post many recent reviews. Often I see someone with a large number of reviews but they are very old. I was just wondering why that is. Are you not supposed to review the same person twice even if a significant time has passed? Is it for added security? Have an awesome reputation and don't need reviews? Or just simply don't have time?

1)  I mostly repeat.  I don't write reviews of someone I've already reviewed unless there is a significant change I think is worth writing about.
2)  I am chronically short on time these days and do have a few reviews in the backlog of things to do.

1) I don't see many new girls and TER won't except rewritten reviews without significant changes.
2) The girls I've seen don't need them.
3) I've grown tired of writing porn that only a few would actually believe.
4) it's faster and cheaper for me to just buy VIP.

This would apply to me also. In addition, I do not much care for applying a rating in the form of a number.

TER doesn't give credit toward VIP membership unless they are reviews for a provider that I have not previously reviewed.

and especially a reluctance to attach numbers to the experience, or to write unless I can contribute something new.
I used to feel some sort of an obligation to the community to produce reviews, because the reviews others published were helpful to me.  That's changed.

I used to make a decent wage. I'm still making that exact same wage, and it's no longer decent. I like variety, I would love to see many different providers, I just can't afford it. Recently, I had a windfall, and was able to see some ladies, and posted about some of them, but basically, I can't afford the hobby that much anymore, and buying VIP is cheaper than seeing and reviewing enough new ladies to earn a year of membership.

#1 I only write a review when I have somthing to say that hasent already been said.
#2 I usully see the same provider more than once.
#3 Some providers dont want reviews ( I always ask)

I haven't seen a new lady for a long time.  The last review I wrote was a rewrite of an older one.  Maybe when your seeing the best you don't mess with the rest.  LOL.  Please don't jump on me, that was meant as a joke.  But if I wasn't happy and receiving excellent performance and friendship from the ladies I see regularly I wouldn't see them.  And yes they know who they are.

I agree with a lot that has been said.  I used to write reviews...  But I stopped about 10 years ago and actually had some that I had written deleted.  A few of my thoughts:

1.  The providers have seen lately have pretty much matched what many others had already said in reviews, and since I have nothing new to add, there's no incentive to do it.

2.  I would probably write a review if I saw a newer provider who wanted one.

3.  I was really turned off to reviewing when back in the 2000-2005 time frame, it was not uncommon to catch some heat from a provider over a review.  Nothing like getting an angry email from a gal you gave a 6 who is sure she's a 9.

4.  TER doesn't approve reviews that don't get very graphic and specific.  I like the intimacy of just me and a gal, behind a locked door, and whatever happens is a memory only we share.  The best moments are the ones where the feelings and the mood can't be put into words, they defy description.

....I was like a kid in a candy store, and saw a different lady almost every week, it seemed.  It was great, and I met many great ladies.  I also used reviews to keep my VIP membership up.  But, like others have said, it's a lot more expensive to do it that way, and so I eventually simply purchased a year's VIP, so I don't need to review for that purpose any more.

Also, like many have said, I'm mostly repeating now with a very small circle of favorite ladies, so that's another reason I don't review.

But, I did appreciate those who did reviews, as it helped me decide on new ladies, when I was playing the field, so to speak, and I did reviews for two reasons: (1) to thank the ladies for a good time (usually!) and (2) to help out fellow hobbyists by telling of my experiences with this lady or that one

An ordinary 60-90 minute session already costs me 3+ hours of my time with hygiene and travel. If I add up the amount I could make if I spent that same time making money, the combined cost is high. Add to that a truly written review, and the cost goes up a bunch more.

I like to write reviews mostly for the other guys because I think it can help them pick high quality providers and likewise it helps the women that provide the best quality in my opinion. TER has been a great resource.

In the end it comes down to costs, both time and money. Like most others have said, buying a VIP membership is looking pretty attractive... either that or an extended hiatus.

This.  I don't like grading the woman and the moment was my special moment I don't really want to share.

I also bought VIP so I do not NEED to review.

Plus I kinda got out of practice during the years i was moderator (they didn't let mods review back in the day)

Also, Many of the type of girls I see are here today/gone tomorrow, so it makes the approval-process a pain in the ass with their instability and trying to link ads and ph# in the review... All and all it just became WAY more trouble than it was worth...

Good to see you back BD, I agree with what you said. This site has changed to much for me to have much more interest than an occasional look now and again. I've seen your posts for a while under the new handle and I had been wondering if DJ was you. Perv on my friend!

I still write reviews of most of the girls I see.  That's how I keep my VIP without leaving any trail, and it's why this board is useful.

I try to keep my reviews simple while still providing relevant information.  They really don't take long to write and I feel like I'm helping the other guys here.  I hope others do the same when their reviews could be useful to others.

I used to also write reviews and stopped for many reasons:

1. they leave a trail of who you have seen.

2  not worth the "credit" to get the vip..buy it if you want.

3.  it is just an ego thing ...bragging rights for the most reviews

4. if she is an existing proven provider...why bother?

the list could go on...but for security and safety...not worth it to write them...
