So I've been having the urge  to go to the strip club for awhile now & I heard there were some great strip clubs downtown Minneapolis?

Any suggestions?

When I used to go to the clubs (IN THE CITY), these were my top THREE choices:

I will always be partial to Schiek’s because when I was 18 years old, I worked there as a waitress in a tuxedo jacket, thongs, stockings and a black leotard for one day until I told my mom my naughty secret! Other than that, I enjoyed the ambiance and excellent décor of the club. I was intrigued by their non-traditional chrome stage void of a tip rail for guys to hover around while not tipping. If this club is still as nice as it used to be, I would love to go there on a date as foreplay!

Augies Bourbon Street Cabaret - (612) 333-7652
This club is the best if you are simply looking for strong drinks while watching ebony women do the most outrageous butt dance tricks, splits and all those things you wish you could do for your man (sometimes freaky is fun!!). I would steer clear of this club if you are turned off by anything considered “hood”. Think of it as a sort of, but not really, Magic City (Atlanta).

I have found Seville to be a great balance between upscale and down-to-earth fun. When I used to go there, the girls gave really hot lap dances that were sensual with a little modern ass-shaking. Then, the lap dances were $25. I think they are $10 now. I’m not sure if this is still the place to go, but if it is, let’s go the next time you are in town…Kyla, you are fine!

I went there once years ago and almost fell in love with this hot Russian dancer. My God, was she fine! My only other experience was applying as a server two years ago and being declined…at least Schiek’s knows hotness (granted I was 18 when I applied to Schiek’s…LOL).

Eww. I didn’t like the quality of women, nor did I like that ladies were required to purchase non-alcoholic drinks before entering the club. Ummm…maybe if they required us to purchase alcoholic drinks for $10…I wouldn’t have complained after about five drinks. They’re happy, I’m happy…we are would have been happy. LOL

The club used to be so much fun. Great girls and bouncers. Sexiness all the way!! Again, it’s been years so I don’t know what the club is like now.

I have NO respect for this club. They wouldn’t hire me twice even though ALL the attention was on me when I was dancing on the tryout stage…on two different occasions. With a much smaller frame and younger version of my beautiful face, they did not consider me good enough for their “neck of the woods”. Funny thing is many of my current regulars are from that “neck of the woods” and I do a lot less work for a lot more money…money that KOD missed out on. Ha Ha..Hilarious!!! Besides, I hear they are having legal issues.

Cool, if you are looking for something a little more “hood” in terms of location, girls, music and smoking a little green in the parking lot. However, if you do not want to be bothered with the presence of police officers, steer clear of this club.

This club is about 2 hours out of the city. Don’t speed or you will be sure to get a $200 speeding ticket. This place used to be so much fun. I don’t know what it is like now. But I would put it on a "one of the best" lists if there ever was one!

NOTE: Of course this is my personal experience from a few years ago as either a dancer, server, patron, or other. It will be neat to see others’ thoughts on the matter. Further, I have left off a lot of clubs I have frequented, as frankly I am tired and need to wake up early tomorrow AM.

. . . somewhat of a strip club aficionado. I've been to them all at least once, and have opinions on each. (I very much prefer to spend time with providers, however, much more "bang for your buck"!)

Best overall is Rick's Cabaret, atmosphere is classy and comfortable, girls are solid, cover is free until 8:00 pm, and, unlike some, the stage show is active at all times.

If you want to get a little more "action," I might recommend a different club. Of course, guys and gals probably go to strip clubs for different reasons, although in the case of GML I'm not so sure!
