It's human nature to want a good deal. Offering incentives to guide us to your door when you would most like to see us is just good business and in no way reflects upon your worth, as anyone that knows you would attest. You need to run things in a way that generates the income you need. If you find yourself dealing with someone who is disrespectful or insists on haggling when you would rather not, simply tell him you feel you wouldn't be a good match and he needs to move on.
