What made you get in the hobby and what is one thing you like and dislike about it?
So I was in a relationship for many years and honestly never thought about getting in the hobby and I didnt really need to. After a break up, I found out my FWB was dabbling in hobby to make extra money. I meet two of her friends at a party, who also were pros, and hooked up with both(my first threesome). I guess that kinda hooked me. Those were the days, lol.
Pro-I love the variety of women but also the connection with some pros(the ones who are genuine at least). The sex with most is great as well.
Obviously the con is that the hobby is super expensive. Unfortunately I dont make 6 figures like some guys, so have to really plan out encounters now. This wasnt as big of and issue when BP was around but too many low class chicks were on there and too many drug addicts.

I have an open relationship with my wife. There's some things she can't do (due to medical reasons)  and others can. We just find this easier.

Pros: Alleviates an urge, meet some cute women, and convenient.

Cons: This shit is expensive, meet a lot of eh women. To be honest rather be with wife.

When i was 17 i enlisted inthe Marine Corp i finished my training in San Diego and Pendleton. My company got our first weekend pass after months of training. When I was 18 I went in the service and was stationed in Germany where it was legal. I knew it prior to arriving and did my best to find out where this happened without sounding like I was going there! LOL

As far as what I don't like. I'd have to say it would be when I meet someone with great reviews but it doesnt seem that way for me. That and the fact its so spendy and the part where you could get busted!

I started when my marriage collapsed.  I began by going to strip clubs, which while fun was also expensive and not that easy to get what I really wanted.  I started seeing escorts a while after I found TER; it took a little while for me to decide that the site was actually legit.

What I like is the opportunity to see young, hot women who normally wouldn't give me the time of day.

What I dislike is all the problems caused by its being illegal.  I believe things would be much better overall if we didn't have this concern.

I got into the hobby when I moved to the Cities in 2011.  For me I really never thought about being serious about the hobby until I moved here.  

When  I was 25 and finishing my PHD I met an married the love of my life, unfortunately, 6 months into our marriage I lost her in a car accident. So married at 25 and a widower at 26.  Not looking to sympathy, this has a lot to do with why I hobby.  Well after her death I became very self destructive and did things and partook in behaviors I'm not proud of.  I ended up getting a chance to do a post-doctorate fellowship at a school in Europe, which I jumped at the chance. I took full advantage of the close proximity to Amsterdam for sure and visited many clubs in Berlin.  Well after about a year I cleaned up my act and got back to living my life and totally removed myself from seeing any providers .  I started dating again and met some fantastic women, but I always felt they were judging me when they found out I was a widower.  I would not share this info until I was well into any relationship.  I never remarried.  I still get very frustrated with dating because now that I'm in my early 50s I still feel that women who I date treat me one of two ways: 1.) Oh you are "broken" so I'm going to run. 2) Oh you are "broken" so I'm going to fix you.  I guess I'm like everyone else, sure we all are a little bruised, but I feel that I've dealt with my issues and am a well-adjusted individua, I don't need to be fixed. So basically for me being in the Hobby, is a hell of a lot easier than dating in "civilian" life.  I will say this, Covid has cut down my hobbying over the past year so I feel like I am starting all over again.  Would love some recommendations of providers over 35.
