I have been around awhile but am new to ter...anyone have any pointers on using ter?? It would be very helpful...thank you

A lot of useful information can be found on the newbie board and in the self-help center.

A few things that come to mind are
1) Make sure you figure out what TER considers an ad and don't post them here; they go on the ad board and only once a week
2) Figure out the requirements to get on the providers only board
3) Reach out to some of the experienced providers who are active here for more info

and yet you are still new to TER? If so have you read your reviews and what do you think of them?

I think she needs to decide what kind of service she wants to offer.

Yes, my reviews are accurate... As for the services I offer, yes the reviews are all different, but that's because no one session is alike and I don't do much screening so first visit is usually a massage and we go from there... Hope that cleared things up for you guys!

... to "your review scores are subpar" or the like.  Upfront and honest.  

...maximum performance score is limited to 6. That would be par. When she provides additional services, her score can increase. I haven't read all of her reviews but it seems the scoring system is being appropriately used in her case.

... the maximum score for a provider who doesn't offer any of the services that count for extra points is 7, not 6.  

...coitus. A HJ isn't eligible for an extra point but a BBBJ is. I see that she's given an extra point in her review with a BJ but not with a HJ. Maybe the revolutionary new TER will clarify the scoring system for non sexual providers.

I believe my scores represent my sessions well, like I said previously all my sessions differ wether it is a massage appt or an escort appt. each session is suited to the clients wants and needs and how often they see me,etc etc there is alot of factors that go into scoring and there personalized sessions. That explains why some are higher then others because no one session is the same!! I hope you guys understand it more now.

A 7 is the highest a massage only provider should get as long as I've been on this site since about 2002-3 but that doesn't mean anything with how some gents just hand out 8's or higher for very basic service or self service rather...I'd say they should be disregarded entirely and if you like the lady see her and be happy .

 Also if you check the rules for reviews, you'll see nothing about any extra point for offering FS. But I know that's a common misconception.    
   
 The net is, "massage" providers can earn a 7 on Performance.  That's my story and I'm sticking with it.

I don't think it has to do with the numerical rating so much as both what's written and what you can read between the lines.  I think OTB is saying decide if you are a massage provider or an escort or both.  If you are both then I should be able to book a FS escort appointment and expect a menu that is industry average.  The whole I'll offer additional menu possibilities after I see you a few times doesn't work as a marketing strategy IMHO especially since there is a review history of YMMV and short sessions.  OP, OTB, and those who like to BYOB please chime in if I got that wrong.  ;-P

Thanks 'bater. You hit the nail on the head about being a 'massage/HJ girl' or FS. The last thing I want to do is get the former with the hope of getting the latter NEXT time!

At least from that I would think you can request a FS appointment right from the beginning.  Or am I missing something here?

 I can totally identify with her in this aspect.  
 
 I see no problem with taking it slow . That is how some of us ladies work and that's the beauty of being a YMMV massage lady .

Interesting to see Natdevine on TER. The very first review I ever did was on Natalie. It was rejected for the very reasons in question on this thread. She only provided basic massage and a HJ on that first visit. However I was so smitten with her I gave her a 9. When I saw the review was rejected I was confused and asked why. It was explained as has been explained here.
I subsequently saw Natalie several times with very positive escalation of services.

Yes I don't do a lot of screening so I think it's safer to start at a massage get to know the person and go from there.....but it seems to me some of you guys have an issue with that so I will be getting another phone and will just have two separate numbers... One for massage services and the other for escort services to clear all the confusion up...
