Don't know how... but we have to find a way to put a stop to NCNSs and excessive last-minute cancellations.
I have had the pleasure of an encounter with Nicole from D.C. during her visit this week. Several guys have cancelled on her minutes before their appointed hour (one just as I was getting ready to say good-bye and be on my way). One other was a NCNS. What's up with that?
How can we expect top-notch service from top-notch women if we don't treat them with respect and courtesy? How can the ladies expect to be treated with respect and courtesy if they don't do right by us guys? Can't we all just play nice?
So...when you have someone that asks for a late night appointment and you are sitting there dressed, candles and music ready and he is a rude *(^&*( and doesn't even show up or answer the phone - what are the rules again? Can I post his name, number, employer, moms name, social security number....lol... but seriously how do I let other providers know about someone like this - been awhile forgot the rules - Thanks for any suggestions AND a $75 dollar special - I mean...come on!!!
thank you for the response...feeling a little better - still not even an email apology...what a jerk! Oh Well lots of you to make up for the few blahs on here *smile* Thanks again and have a good day!
I have never NCNS. The only excuse I could ever see would be an emergency - car accident, hospital, wife reading your text to the provider, etc.
Percentage of the time it happens to me......... 20 - 25%. There is never a question as to whether I am coming, I always call prior to leaving, etc. To be honest, when I arrive somewhere and they don't answer the phone I feel like a complete dumbshit for "letting" it happen - even if it's not my "fault"
If only we could all be considerate..... oh well, snot a perfect world, is it?
having the pleasure of meeting you in the past, for 75 bucks he missed out. Keep your head up and be happy he didn't show, most NCNS participants are not worth worrying about!
Ditto here as well, never NCNS any provider. And routinely X out any that NCNS me (without any attempt to clear things up). Too many other solid choices available. My NCNS % around 10%

Listing NCNS clients is what the provider only board is for. One tip for you if you want to cancel a bunch of appointments quickly because something happens (i.e. sick kid). Change the greating on your answering machine saying that something came up and that you're having to cancel appointments. That way when your clients call they'll have something. Then when you can, get back in touch with folks. With a little bit of practice you can get very quick at changing your answering message. The extra minute is worth it.
Clearly, no we cannot all play nice. NCNS is just as wrong regardless of who is doing it and waiting until the last moment to cancel isn't that much better unless there is a genuine last minute emergency.
