I think that the media loves to make a big deal about stings and bust, especially when they can refer back to politicians and celebrities who have been caught up in similar situations.

Rule of thumb: NO NAMES.

If an article has names, pictures or personal info then do no post a link to it.

I think that someone posting links to one of the articles with a name may have been confused by observing similar instances in the past.

There has appeared to have been some confusion about this policy on this board in the past.

You bring up a good point.  I thought the rule was we were not supposed to link to articles that would allow the reader to connect someone's escort or hobby "name" with their real name.  I did not see the original link so I don't know what was in it but the ones I have seen did not have that kind of information.  

Moderators, would you please clarify this?

Vorlon, the article in question had the hobbyist's real name, work info and a photo.
I can't think of any circumstance that such an article should be posted here.
