Worst board in ten years???
Who is at fault????
Guess what???
I have posted everything for the last month.
I stand one hundred percent against alias.
Keep the war going, it is fun to watch...
Not even CLOSE.
I remember when something called "GirlNextDoor" moderated this board - that was before Ben, and long before Fuzzy. You'd be lucky if your post was put up with in three days...if ever.
Secondly, this board hasn't even existed for ten years. That's comical.
I for one, appreciate a MOD who largely lets the commuity police itself, rather than putting it on lock down.
After a few reckless posts...
Going to agree with you Durt-E on that! It's nice not to see the hatred that used to be around here.
This hobby is very much like sports, and it was better when it was ran for and about what MEN like.
It has become a girls slumber party for better or worse.
I'm sure I have offended some people, but it offends me that you are offended. Love the ads that speak of availability and specials, love the pics, some are really very good. I just think many of the really fun people may have left.
Right now girls post and all the other girls post how they would like to do them, well hell take a day off and get it done.
I don't know, does anyone have any records they want to sell?

Now tell us what format it ran under and what year it arrived in Minnesota.
Sorry I can't ikcuts. It would be way too much info for your little brain
he made me laugh. that wanker looks sore. I miss BenDovers outragious stories.
Some people use alias' to instigate trouble with someone obviously having a bad day. Some city mod's have a policy of flipping alias' that continue to instigate trouble. That would be a very entertaining day.
BTW I don't post as an alias. I'd be too tempted to instigate the instigators. Which, rhymes with masterbate :P
And, I think it's hard to be a mod around here, always has been.
I shouldn't be a mod. I'd threaten to flip a few alias' for shits and giggles.

Some, including my local board, San Francisco, are nearly non-existant. At least you have activity here. If you feel that the guys are not contributing enough, the only ones who can fix that, are the guys who aren't contributing enough. If you'd like to see more discussions, post something worthy of discussion. There's plenty to talk about. All you need to do is get the ball rolling.
As I said, my local board is nearly non-existant, and it's boards like yours that keep me wandering around from board to board, making a general nuisance of myself.
I've looked at other boards before but keep coming back to the MN board. It's lively. There is always something going on. Always something to think about, talk about, ignore, laugh at...
For a Gemini like me it's a ball!
I guess I don't understand what the problem is. But then I've always exercised my ability of reason. I read the posts that look interesting and avoid the one's that don't.
It's kind of easy actually.
But... Impeachable... are you saying the you'd prefer that the ladies simply not post?
Every forum all over the internet on every conceivable topic is the same way and has the same problems. So this is nothing new.
My preferred solution is to moderate very lightly, mostly for privacy and legal and board policy concerns, and to let the adults choose which threads they start and which they choose to participate in or not. I think I'm echoing "annarae" in this.
I've only been following this board for a little over 1 1/2 years so I have no idea what it was like 10 years ago. It seems pretty tame lately. There are a few flare ups now and then which seem to quickly die out, unlike some of the flameouts in the past where the rants would cascade down the down the page in a never ending crossfire of name calling and insults. I post on four different boards and every board has problems from time to time with flameouts and trolls.
I do miss some of the past frequent posters who used to add valuable insight and information. I think it's curious that posters who often criticize the board today don't seem to be willing or able to step up and fill the void left by those former posters who have taken leave. If ya ain't part of the solution...
I love aliases when used appropriately. They can, at times, sweeten a bitter pill and add creativity and humor to help keep threads civil and fun.
So, Ikcuts, I know you're thick skinned enough to let any criticism roll off your back like water off a duck.
Peace,
DS
and a lot of duck and cover. Don't miss that at all. Made for a lot of fun bed time though. ![]()
People have to realize a lot of shit has hit the fan here in the last year. A lot of guys are still laying low after the past summers events.More than a few have reinvented themseleves here and are simply not as board active.I might also say TER hasn't helped by making it almost impossible for casual hobbyists or lurkers to get basic info.Again, coming on the heels of what went down here a lot of guys are still gun shy.As for all the provider posts, who cares! I remember not to long ago guys were complaining because hardly any gals ever posted.
But these things also go in cycles.Guys and Gals come and go.And there will always be drama Queens and Kings. No offense to the current Mods, but I gotta say I miss ole Ben and Fuzzy. They didn't take this whole business to seriously and thats really the way it should be.I miss being able to instantly voice your opinion.Oh and by the way I've been around a lot longer than my one cuurent review shows,I've been participating in the hobby for over twenty years and on the board for more than seven years.
Yeah, me too. The key word in that sentence being - INSTANTLY.
