ven Fox Woman by Hedingarna is best listened to with a great pair of headphones where the breathing is so much clearer and pronounced and is unfortunately lost in the translation of you tube; but it is a start.

I am curious what others find as erotic in music.  What makes your hips and imagination want to move and grind and what music transports you to a whole new sensual realm?

I am hoping to hear a few pieces I've never heard before (oldies or popular songs are welcome, too) and I hope some of you like this one that I have found intensely fascinating and unexpectedly erotic.

Thanks for participating

As for the best headphones to listen to music on: That'd be the B&W P5's

went to see them back in 1989 in a hole in the wall, wall to wall pouring out the door attendees fire hazard could hardly breathe crowded where we all moved with each other... no clothes on would be one hell of an orgy right there... and they are the ultimate in a certain vein of sexy.  I will be fantasizing what it would be like to play with him.  yeeeesh

I'm sorry to say this but when I was in high school the slow song the guys put on at dances and parties was  "Ben" by Michael Jackson.  It may be a love song to a rat but it raised many teenage woodies back then. Still brings back good memories.

Saw NIN at First Ave that year, or maybe 1990. Was close enough for Reznor to sweat on me.  Alas, no orgy broke out.

It was rumored that Summer sang her very convincing orgasmic-sounding vocals on the studio floor while simulating a sex act. The rumor was partly true - after trying to record her vocal the traditional way, her producer Giorgio Moroder had her sing on the studio floor while lying on her back with the lights out, since she didn't want the guys working on the album looking at her when she sang it. She explained that she was indeed touching herself during the vocal - she had her hand on her knee. Her boyfriend Peter served as her fantasy inspiration

I wholeheartedly agree with Lady Astrid Joe, thanks for the reminder, had to dig out my CDs and did a whole afternoon of Sade, I especially like her performance on this song, one near to my heart:)

Partly it depends for me on how you define erotic. The term can be painted with water colors or charcoal depending on the mood (and many times the gender of the artist).

Billy Squier "Everybody Wants You" and Don Henley "All She Wants to Do Is Dance"
are two that come to mind. (listen don't watch)

Unfortunately in this day and age of music videos imprinting an interpretation of a song, I feel like it is harder to pick a song. (Though NIN "Closer" has done the job with the right person.

No one has mentioned these? Just... WTF.  ;)
Marvin Gaye:
I Want You
Gotta Give it Up
Mercy Mercy Me
and the two everyone should have listed immediately
Sexual Healing
Let's Get It On

Al Green:
Tired of Being Alone
I'm Still in Love With You
Here I Am (Come and Take Me)
Let's Stay Together
Look What You Done For M

I love music, absolutely love it. However my preference would be something soft, piano music or instrumental. This provides a nice background without taking anyone's attention away from the main course. :)

...until some of the younger ladies would chuckle and remark that it sounds like those old porno movie soundtracks. The ladies have enough to chuckle about when they're in my intimate presence, let alone my musical selection so I broke down and revamped it. Now it has a lot of R&B; R. Kelly, Aaron Neville, Miguel, Michael Buble, Mariah Carey, Diana Krall, DMB, Nickelback, Norah Jones, My Darkest Days, and Enigma among the featured artists with a heavy dose of Sade throughout. The ladies always love Sade.

I don't have specific favorites. I used to play piano and have always enjoyed the soothing sound of a classic piano. I'll often listen to instrumental music when I am working, and piano is my favorite.

oh damn... I strain to love music... I strain and am lonely for a good new piece.  I have a few but am looking for the ones that strike my money note.  I torture myself with being picky.  Some music can make me cum without touching myself in some circumstances.  That's never been the piano, but it can pluck me in other places and I just want it!  I'd love to hear pieces you like as you have a special ear having played.

allright, I should be more specific sometimes. :) I can appreciate someone who is picky as I am the same way. With my love of music, I only wish I could cum too from just listening.
My favorites are a CD called the Piano Guys. Its a 2 disc set with lots of good listening. I also have a couple of CD's by Kenny G. There are other instruments that compliment the piano music on his. Then I have a couple of others that were part of a box set or gift set, just cant think of the names right now. Hope that helps.

There's such a sultry quality to Norah's voice.  One of my favorite CDs.

Another fav of mine is Whitney Houston's debut album.  Some hot tracks on that one like "Saving All My Love For You", but also other great songs like "Greatest Love of All"--one of my ATFs, albeit not something I'd choose to play on a date with a provider!
