That is the reason I won't do a review again, TER is so very inconsistent in the way they approve reviews. I have had one returned to me at least half a dozen times before I just gave up.
So ladies, if you are wondering why that gent isn't writing a review for you, it isn't your fault. TER is just making it too damn frustrating to care about writing them anymore.
Ok..i'm pretty upset! I had a review denied for no good reason. First, ter claimed the website had expired..not true, her BP add was as current as the day i posted the review, and she doesn't have a personal website-which i indicated. Then, ter claimed my 'details' weren't long enough or whatever, BS, i have read MANY MANY reviews with much shorter detail paragraphs than mine. So, i edited the review, resubmitted, and was denied again..WTF!! Again, ter claimed the website had expired..again BS!!! Whats the deal here??? The reviews are a major part of what keeps this site going, but i won't post if they won't. Do u want my money, do u want me to pay for VIP status, aren't the reviews more valuable!! Oh, BTW, i have emailed my comments, but have received no response.
I've the same thing happened to me all the time. It looks like after i click the "submit" button, the field truncates the website address. If you re-open the review after you submit, i bet u can see the link have been truncated. I tried this many many times to fix it but the correct address won't stay. Each time i submit, i have to write to admin to put in the correct website address. I did tell them that the website field was truncating the link. They were clueless because it only happened to a small number of people. Yes, it is still happening to me.
I had the same problem with a review that included a link to a back page advertisment. Apparently, some BP links are very long, and contain more characters than can be entered and saved by the TER database. And, you are so right about the details. I have read some reviews with laughingly few details: I saw one a year ago, that simply said: "she was great, and we did everything!!" Go Figure.

it's not that i object to paying for a service..i mean, thats why we are all here. But don't advertise VIP membership to those of us who have the balls to post(and i mean that seriously..any guy can buy a membership and claim VIP status) but those of us who do post our OWN reviews keep this site going, and i think we deserve better!! Don't make it a game for us to post a review.
I would think that those who buy their VIP help keep this site going, too. Somebody writing reviews doesn't pay for servers or bandwidth. OTOH, the reviews are a lot of what VIPs pay for, so it's kind of symbiotic, innit?
Was this a poor review (i.e. you rated her poorly?). If so, in my experience it appears the provider themselves can have some sway on whether the review gets added.
I just submitted a review that was not approved. I gave her a glowing review and was pretty detailed in the description. I'm not sure that I'll pay for VIP status after this.
Since becoming the moderator I have not submitted any reviews. However, prior to this time I wrote many reviews that we rejected. The rejection was alway for a good reason.
