My hushmail account took a crap yesterday on me. Made it impossible for me to return any of my emails to my clients.  
looking for some suggestions on some email programs that I should use instead of hush mail!

Anyone who hasn't heard from me or wants to hear from me quicker...Gmail me.
I will keep hush mail around only because some only feel safe using it,but lately a small percent of my emails go  
Missing and some don't send. It's a real pain.

There is an issue of censorship by servers.
The link describes some of the issues--google others.
In general, just like with a phone call, dial down explicit language, masked IPs are problem.
Subject lines like SPECIAL OFFER, SEXXXX are a problem.
Some might want to consider business casual for their email address rather than xxxrated handles

really been considering Hushmail???

I gave up on Hushmail because of similar issues. I also didn't want to have to login every 3 weeks to avoid paying or losing the account (minor issue for most).

Gmail, Yahoo and Hotmail all have similar risks in that they incessantly try to link accounts together. One mis-click and you could add your entire address book to you [email protected] account. Awkward.

Google (and different browsers) also 'helpfully' remembers usernames, even if you have everything set to Max privacy, don't click 'remember username' etc. You'll still see it autocomplete when you start to type the first letter. Frustrating.

CCleaner can help some but it's a pain as it wipes out legit settings you want to keep.

Try Lavaboom and practice good email/computer hygiene and you should be as safe as reasonably possible
