I think you meant provider not providers.  Many locals are very reliable.
When you use an alias AND don't name the provider your post is not useful.  What are we to learn from it?  Some unnamed provider supposedly did you wrong?  Just my 2 cents.

I contacted a provider a few months ago and made an appointment early in the day for 10 pm that evening unfortunately I
had to cancel with several hours notice. A month of so later made another appointment and she said it would be another 100 because of the previous cancelation I thought it was unreasonable because I had given several hours notice but kept my mouth shut and sucked it up. Well would ya know she canceled on me and gave no reason and would not reply. Recently made an attempt and didn't even get a reply. I would rather spend my money with local providers but when this happens I will be looking or traveling elsewhere with my Ben Franklin's. WTF

I did mean providers and won't use the name and will use my alias to hopefully prevent being blackballed.  The providers put you threw the screening  process all I would ask is they hold up on their end of the deal. I do not live the the twin cities area and time is limited when visiting therefore planning ahead is important. In the past I have had many great times with local and visiting providers but things seem to have changed in the past 2 years.

As a provider, I don't waste my time wtih cancellaion fees.  There is no way to really collect, how many guys are actually going to pay this?  With a few hours notice, she shouldn't be upset at all.  We all have stuff come up at one time or another.  I don't believe you did anything wrong.  When a gentleman pulls a NC/NS or cancels often with lame excuses, I simply put them on my 'no' list.  You, however, did nothing wrong.
