Credit card transactions are easily reversible.  A lady might consider only accepting them from well-established gentlemen with references from ladies who he has paid with credit card, or a gentleman who provides his full legal name and employment information so the lady has some recourse should he go right home and dispute the transaction with the credit card company.

Good point, this may actually be a case where you're better off taking one of those un-named gift/cash cards.  Once the transaction clears, it's a done deal.  Since the person with the card has no "relationship" with a bank, there's no one for them to call to contest a charge.  Those kinds of cards really are just a cash substitute.

I had not even considered that aspect of it. Never disputed a charge but wouldn't your full name be disclosed to the provide when the charge is disputed?  

This is why cash is king in my book.

+1 Vorlon.  I would highly recommend NOT using a credit card.  That transaction will stay in your bank/card companies transaction log FOREVER.  It tells LE (or your wife's divorce attorney) the date, time, location and amount of the transaction, and who was paid.  Good luck talking your way out of that one in court.

Yes and now watch all the guys line up with them . Does anyone honestly have time to call and check the balance every single time someone gives you that instead of their donation?
