Well, first off, it's about a 3-4 year old Viao. The first problem is the "a" key doesn't work. That problem just came about a week ago. The more urgent problem is that the powercord is not giving power to the pc. I bought a new powercord and somewhere in that process, I now can't get any powercords into the pc "power hole" (oh boy that sounds sexual!!!! LOL), if you know what mean. I think the tiny little silver thing inside of it got bent in my frustration and won't go back into place.  

Does this sound like something anyone could fix? How much could a job like this run me? If it's too much, I may just buy a new one. And if that's what I need to do, does anyone know someone who buys and reburbishes these things?
