I'm having some issues with my laptop and need someone "hobby friendly" to help me out, since there are images I would not like to share with Geek Squad! *blush*

Hi J!

Well, first off, it's about a 3-4 year old Viao. The first problem is the "a" key doesn't work. That problem just came about a week ago. The more urgent problem is that the powercord is not giving power to the pc. I bought a new powercord and somewhere in that process, I now can't get any powercords into the pc "power hole" (oh boy that sounds sexual!!!! LOL), if you know what mean. I think the tiny little silver thing inside of it got bent in my frustration and won't go back into place.  

Does this sound like something anyone could fix? How much could a job like this run me? If it's too much, I may just buy a new one. And if that's what I need to do, does anyone know someone who buys and reburbishes these things?

Walmart the new acer netbook $278 better than paying to fix a lost cause.
wipe hard drive sell on ebay it will probably pay for your new one.
