Long time listener, first time caller so to speak.  I am in the process of verification with what seems like a very well known scheduler for several very well known providers with long standing reviews.  I have no references and am not otherwise verified, so the scheduler asked for my LinkedIn information.  Bad idea?

Only you can decide how much personal information you feel comfortable giving, the less you need to give the better. There are enough providers around that you can find one who will accept the information you are willing to give, it may be the ones you are dealing with or it may be others. Remember if you give your info to the wrong person you can't get it back.
Consider joining P411, that's one of the best things I did for myself here. Take comfort in knowing that things get easier once you get a few references.

Thanks for the reply, DJ1985.  I am guessing from your post the I do not have to worry about P411 having my information.

And after you are verified they have no reason to retain your information. They are also in Canada so US LE is not a concern. IMO it is best to give that information to one entity as apposed told every girl you want to see.

They are a trust worthy organization based in Canada. Calling their toll free number makes things easier than doing it online. They are very helpful and accommodating and are willing to work with you, it truly is money well spent. You still may need to give a little more info to the first couple providers you see but when you get your first few P411 OKs it's like getting the key to the candy shop.

Giving out that sort of info can have very bad consequences if the wrong person gets a hold of it.  That only happens rarely but once is enough to really cause you trouble.

Go with the P411 route.  They have a vested interest in keeping you info safe.
