I have to admit I am guilty of not even acknowledging chat exists on TER most of the time. In the last several years I have only checked it out maybe a half dozen times & when I do there's typically only 1 or 2 people there & they're not from Mn. Am I checking in at the wrong times, or is it as "out of sight, out of mind" for others as well? Just curious. It does seem like a nice alternative to just reading the boards but on the same note rather time consuming. Thoughts?

I love the chat feature on here and wish women were on it more often. Its very rare one is!

I have had the same expereince 1 or 2 people there if any.  A MN Chat Room would be a fantastic option, we need to take advantage of it.   Let me know what time you're there and we can chat.

discussion of various aspects of the hobby.  Prior to the "new' TER format, it was a very busy place but has been quite quiet the last year or so.  When there are interesting hobbyists and providers in the room it can be fun and informative.  Also, the "Chat with a Provider" feature is very convenient if a provider you know or are interested in getting to know is online.  Or, you can find out a lot about her city or cities she travels to, hotels, etc.

Hmmmm..... Maybe we can schedule a certain day & time for Minnesotans to congregate there? Just an idea.

Likely for the hobbiest and the provider...  I've had some really nice conversations on chat but haven't noticed anyone on it in quite some time.

I would love to chat, but weem to never have the time.  If I'm not working or dealing with email and phone calls, I have cleaning to do, errands to run, etc.  I usually only sit at the computer for an hour at a time these days and chats can be very time consuming.  I personally prefer chatting on the phone (faster) or through email (I can control the time.)

Ohhh the chat feature on different board in San Diego brings back some great memories!!!!  There was always a good mix of ladies and guys and the chat was almost always entertaining to say the least.  Was able to connect on short notice on more than one occasion.  Had my first experience with a beautiful lady after chatting for a couple weeks in their chat room.  Good times!

It's simply something you can do when killing time.  It isn't something you would want to spend tons of time on.  I have to use it in my occupation and do not devote a huge portion of the day towards it.

I'm looking all over the place for this 'chat' feature trying to figure out where the fuck it is...

*hangs head* When I realized that it was a tab as obvious as ALL the other ones I use, first I felt stupid... Then, I laughed at my blonde moment and decided to share.  I'll be checking that out more often.

may be stopping it.  Mine was, I allowed it, and wow I"M IN!   LOL.  only one in the room though.

I use an iPod,cannot find a way to disable pop-ups,therefore  cannot get into chat. Is there a wise soul who can suggest help?
