So, a friend (not a close friend, but a friend) of mine passed away unexpectedly while on a business trip.  He's had some chronic health issues that seem to have been well controlled for a few years, but he was found dead in his hotel room, died in his sleep.  So...  The other day the police from the city where he was staying call his wife, and say they are curious if she might now anything about some phone calls.  A short call to a burner phone was made from his hotel room phone at 2am, and then a call to a taxi company was made at 4am.  She doesn't know about my secret, and most likely doesn't know about his either, so I didn't let on that I knew EXACTLY what was going on...  I am hoping that if they follow up with the cab company and are able to track the passenger down, that they have the grace to just let it go and not talk to her about it.

I know of a similar event that happened some years ago. There was a gent with whom I was not associated with, nor did was he aware of my hobby, however I knew about his.

How many of my colleagues sitting at this boring meeting with me hobby or escort or did so at one point?  Would someone who knows me IRL but not as a hobbyist and also knows me through TER be able to connect those two personas?  Sometimes the world can be a small place after all

few years ago a middle aged gentlemen was killed in a car accident.   His wife said she had no idea why he would of been driving in that area or what he had been doing.  I knew exactly what he was doing and thankfully she never did figure it out.

that have had a guy email them and through screening find out it's someone they know in civie life.
Most have opted to decline the appt but some have followed through and had a great time.

life is real, things happen. don't let fear and paranoia rule the day. if your situation is that complicated, find another hobby. you are the master of only your own destiny. be safe, be smart.    mbs

Not that I disagree with you, nor am I insinuating that you are suggesting that I should have booked with my niece, she is very hot and attractive ! just to be Clear, No I could not do that, as it is to close to home, and just a bit to out there, at least for me.
No doubt, I am a bit of a risk taker, and that is just a part of my personality, but I also know to
weigh my actions, against the possible consequences or outcome.
An example, I don't make parachute jumps without a functioning parachute, I don't repel down
sheer cliffs, without a good strong rope ! LOL

that was the point of my post. life has consequences, sorry for the loss of a friend. at times it's hard to separate our emotions from hobby and civi-life.      mbs

One of the favorite customers at my friend's nail salon is actually a FBSM provider. My friend thinks she works in the shipping department of a company. I took one look at her and knew she did something else. It was several months later that I booked an appt with a BP provider and it was her! Made the session very awkward at first, but the menu had extra pages once she knew who I was and I swore secrecy.

nobody...  If you're talking about who I am thinking of, I was seeing her on a very regular basis too...

See ladies who are a "tad" older than I so the risk of a chance meeting in real life is minimized greatly. Living in a big metropolis has its advantages.

This is exactly the type of thred that that huminises both sides of this hobby, when some parts of the review text tend to leave our encounters sounding so mechanical.
